I don't usually review hotels, but I had such a terrible experience at a hotel in Marina, California that we refused to stay there even after we paid. As such we rebooked here at the Victoria Inn. What a great experience. The rooms were simple but clean, and comfortable and met our needs as a family. The location was excellent, close by, and just a simple walk to all the main attractions. However, the real clincher was the included breakfast. It was fantastic! They had these amazingly fresh, warm, ham and cheese croissants that were simply divine! I don't know if that is a staple for breakfast but they had them every day we were there. A really great little hotel. Well worth stopping in for a night.

Rooms are clean but mattresses need to be replaced as they are worn down and uncomfortable. Otherwise it is a good hotel with a decent breakfast and a wine and cheese happy hour at 5 PM.Safety: Parking is safe

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights. We were in town for a business/personal vacation. We really enjoyed staying at the Victorian Inn. It is in a very good location for shopping, restaurants, sightseeing. We had a bit of trouble with the gas fireplace that they couldn’t fix right away and they gave me a $75.00 courtesy credit without me asking. I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here for a couple nights while driving from SoCal to Seattle. It was very comfortable, an excellent location with bars/restaurants/aquarium within walking distance, and they allow cats! Definitely great value for money as well. The fireplace in the room was a great touch.

The room was quaint and cozy but had everything we needed. We paid for a view, but there was no view being in the back on the first floor. Loved the fireplace.

Perfect hotel for visiting Monterrey. Grade 10! Cheese and wine from 5pm to 6pm "for free"? Great, spacious rooms. Service with smiles. 10 minutes from the city point.

___The Good___-Nice Inn really close to Cannery Row. -More affordable than my other options in the area.-Parking available-Deluxe room is spacious. Plenty of room. Mini-fridge. Large desk. -Fireplace in room. -Bed is comfy enough. -Wine & cheese hour from 5pm-6pm. Not impressive, but very much appreciated. -Breakfast included. -Pet friendly. I believe I even saw treats. -Friendly, helpful, and patient staff. ___The Not So Good___-No microwave.-Parking was $17 per day, which is acceptable. -Could not turn off the fireplace. The buttons did not work. This just made me a little nervous. -Some of the rooms open directly to the outside rather than into a hallway. Ive always been taught to books rooms that require access to a building rather than rooms that are exposed.

Everything that is romantic and vintage; visually and aesthetically put together rooms; thoughtful gift to couples with a beloved well-loved dog. High quality not falling short on quantity and truly memorable guest services. Nearby beautiful ocean sights, lemongrass lotion & body wash, wine & cheese snacks, intimate and cozy during our holiday stay. We will be coming back, highly recommend!Rooms: One of the kind vintage and romantic experience!Walkability: 100 walking score to many seafood restaurants and indulgences.Noteworthy details: Feels like 5 stars stay!

Pros: just 2 easy blocks from Cannery Row, dog friendly, breakfast included, nice little refreshing happy hour, fun fireplace, easy in and out. Convenient parking garageCons: OK beds n sheets, needs updating, cigar smoking couple rooms over drove us out of our room, breakfast staff come crashing in at 10am sharp and rip the breakfast food away (even as I watched, one person was choosing a bagel and the staff took them all away!) This was amusing, but really not good business behavior.Special shout out to the front desk staff who really go out of their way to be helpful. They really love to spoil their canine guests and that is so appreciated!! 5 paws just for that. :)Nearby activities: Right by Cannery RowWalkability: Very walkable, easy in and out. Steps from restaurants, Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium

Great little hotel. Some of the decor is dated but the rooms are comfy and the location is amazing. Nice touch with the wine at 5pm and also the breakfast is not fancy but they have a waffle machine!! Really enjoyed our stay there.

Convenient location, friendly and easy check in and out.Limited option for breakfast but was sufficient and tasty, especially the scramble eggs with cheeseCold water available at lobby which is appreciated especially on hot daysEasy sheltered parking at reasonable rateRoom is dated but comfy, no Aircon so will be hot in summer. My room was facing main road so it was very noisy as I have to open the window. Wi-Fi works well
