By far the worst hair cut I have ever gotten... I walked in, and first thing I saw was the lady doing a man's hair, and she put the dirty razor back in the "clean" box. Then, she sat me down and I came in with my hair curled due to an event. She didn't wash my hair and barely wet it with the spray bottle. My hair is curly so when it's wet it is uneven and frizzy. I asked for face framing from the CHIN down and my bangs were all the way above my eyes. My hair came out uneven and choppy. Worst experience yet, don't go here if you have long hair!!!!!

The barber/ hairdresser here is bad with sheers. She badly cut my neck. I do not recommend.

Wow!! I needed a haircut really quickly - and the state of my hair was pretty trashed. It was extremely long, hadn't been cut in almost four years, and the bottom 5-6 inches were split ends. I called this morning to see if Jila could squeeze me in today, and she said she could in the afternoon. I arrived on time, right when she was just finishing up with another client. A few minutes later, I sat in the chair, told her what I wanted, and I swear she used some kind of magic on me to where after fifteen minutes of chatting my confidence level went through the roof because my cut was INCREDIBLE. I never style my hair, and it looks full and healthy now, with fabulous, flattering layering. SO WORTH IT! Highly recommended. I'll be back and I'm finally able to take care of my hair because someone so skilled is here and with great value! Thanks Jila!

Jila is literally amazing. I wanted a basic trim appointment and she was able to book me the next day. I told her what I wanted and she did exactly what I wanted. It was 15 mins from start to finish. She is very caring and sweet person. You can't beat her prices. I will definitely keep coming back to her. Thank you Jila.

Don't waste your time. Called in for an appointment and asked for a haircut that day. The lady who picked up the phone said "Don't have any today" and hung up.Ok... That's one way to win new customers.Plenty else to chose from in Monterey. I urge others to do the same.Since customer service was lousy off the bat - I am making the assumption that I'll get the same if I actually showed up for an appointment.

What a find. Jila is a knowledgable, experienced stylist with over 30 years experience. She is pleasant and responsive, and didn't stop until I was completely satisfied with my haircut. I strongly recommend this salon.
