A wonderful hotel with excellent service. Truly a 3-star experience, just like in Europe. Beautiful interior with everything you need and more. The pool is clean and very warm. I will definitely come back and recommend it to friends. Pup-friendly. We had a magical three-day stay.

This place is beautiful. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The pool was fun for the kids. Close to everything we live in Monterey. We will definitely be back!

I spent 5 days in this hotel, the rooms were quite nice and cosy. It had a smart TV, and mini bar. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was served only on Weekends and dinner daily. The location is very convenient, there are other eateries close by within walking distance. The hotel has a Spa, Gym and conference facilities. Located in Monterey, California, USA.
Walkability: It's accessible to all ages and has wheelchair access. The Monterey Fishermen's Wharf is within walking distance.

A hotel where the rooms look like a mortuary and also smells like that. The extra costs (parking $17 per day) on top of the outrages room prices are #€@ up. And if you wat to complain by email that is not possible because the WiFi sucks

Stayed 2 nights with 1 dog in early March 2024. Although a little pricy, overall, we were pleased with our stay at Casa Munras and would consider staying there again in the future. The property is large and the hotel is made up of several 2 story buildings. Overall great option if traveling with a dog. There is a nice restaurant and a spa onsite.
Pros:
+ Within walking distance of many restaurants, bakeries, Walgreens, and Trader Joe's
+ All hotel and restaurant staff we encountered were professional, helpful, and friendly.
+ Hotel room was clean, spacious, and fairly updated. We stayed in room 121, a pet friendly King deluxe room with a fireplace, across from a little grassy area and outdoor pool. Fireplace was nice during the chilly evenings. The room's heater was fairly quiet and heated the room quickly when needed. No carpet which is ideal when traveling with a pet.
+ Hotel grounds and outdoor seating of restaurant were nicely maintained.
+ Mattress was comfortable.
+ Complimentary bikes at the hotel, although we didn't use them, were a nice option
+ Grassy area for dogs with poop bags were convenient.
+ Pet fee was reasonable ($50 per stay)
+ Onsite restaurant, Esteban, is a pet friendly restaurant and outdoor seating has plenty of heating elements.
Cons:
- Parking fee $17/night - 2 hour street parking out front from 9am to 6 pm Mon - Sat / no restrictions from 6 pm to 9am
- Could hear footsteps from rooms above.
- No clear signage for hotel lobby/ front desk. We had to drive around a few times before figuring out the hotel lobby was next to the restaurant.
- Curved shower curtain rod made it difficult to keep the bathroom floor dry
- No drinking-water in the room.

Very charming hotel in downtown Monterey. Extensive parking available (paying). The room was not large but very nicely decorated. There was also the option to cast on the TV screen for Netflix. Large refrigerator was also available and the shower had a nice hard jet and was high enough for us (1m87 or 6ft2). All shops and restaurants were within a 5-minute walk. Restaurant turn12 is highly recommended. There was also a nice swimming pool, but unfortunately the weather was a bit too cold to use it.

This establishment disrespects all men and women who have died under the colors of The Star-Spangled Banner by being in violation of US Flag code section 7E which states the American flag must be placed front and center in all flag display arrangements.

There is a small pool and a restaurant onside but the most impressive aspect is the location. 5 minutes from the main street and 5 more minutes to the busy coastal boulevard.
Walkability: Plenty of rooms at ground level and very walkable from major attractions

Great location if you're seeing a show at the Golden State Theater. Not a far walk to Fisherman's Wharf or Cannery Row. Nice rooms and friendly staff.

I love this hotel! Great location and just a really cute vibe. Loved that they have complementary bikes to take around town.
