Tak the boss and shop owner is a kinda, professional, and fair business owner that runs a great body shop. The only minor mishap was my credit card being charged incorrectly because the machine was glitching and ended charging the wrong card 2 times that we have to cancel and work with my bank in clarifying. Finally the correct card was charged and a receipt was finally printed and signed. Thank you Mr Yamagata for taking care of our family car!

Someone backed into my rear end of my car so I went to come see Chris at Yama's Auto Body Shop the next day.Not only was Chris thorough with the examination of my car, he was super informative about what the next steps were for my repair (insurance, costs, etc.). Chris clearly knows what he was doing and he offered the best price out of three other shops around the area. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you, Chris!

worst shop ever if you care about your car don't!!!! go here , took my ride in for small paint job it came back damaged n with dents my gauges were disconnected n had to go back !! my trim was poorly put back on !! there body guy sucks big time!! Had to take it back to fix dents n wiring! Still is screwed up there so bad I don't want to go back don't trust em there not capable of fixing s*** !!!

Yama's has been around as long as I have been living in the San Gabriel Valley more than 30 years ago, but this is the first I time I used their service. The bumper of my 4-yer-old car had acquired some scratches over the years, and I was curious how much it would cost to have them repaired. I stopped by Yama's one afternoon and asked for an estimate. Chris, the manager, gave me a written estimate, His business approach and personal disposition have immediately convinced me that I could entrust the job to him. The cost, of course, was reasonable, too. Three days later, I went to pick up my car and, like magic, the bumper was anew again -- all the scratches were gone. Needless to say, Chris and his staff did an amazing job.

Great service from Chris he fix my Subaru wrx really amazing and fast. My insurance didn’t want to put OEM parts but Chris went out of his way and got me Subaru parts. I thanks him so much because my car is brand new. Thank you Chris for taking care of my car.

Fantastic customer service with quality paint to match. I came down to Yama Auto through a recommendation from a friend. Couldn't of been happier working with this business. Brought my bumpers to be painted with some added two toning. Will definitely come back again

I took my car to get fix here and they did a BEAUTIFUL JOB. The owner Chris is very reasonable with prices and you don't pay until the job is finish. HONESTY and PROFESSIONALISM. HARD WORKING GROUP OF GUYS.

I highly DON'T recommend this place at all. Both myself and my nephew had taken our cars there to have minor bodywork done. The employees there will steal parts and accessories in the engine compartment and interior off the cars and replace them with junk parts. Owner knows of the problems. He will just blow it off and say "show me a receipt for the parts" or "product's that was stolen". Never paid for any of them.

I normally do not post Yelp reviews but this post has been long overdue and wanted to thank Chris and his team so much for their help and give Yama's the 5 stars they deserve! My first encounter with Chris was back in December of last year when I got into an accident where someone side swiped my car on my way back home from work. I brought my car to Yama's hoping it would be a quick fix. Chris was very straightforward and communicated how the process of repair will be, answered any questions I had in regards to the repair with detailed explanation and was just overall very helpful in a situation that was very stressful but somehow put the process of repair at ease. My car was with Chris for a few days and Chris contacted me to let me know he had attempted to contact the other party's insurance and was not able to get in contact with anyone so I took my car back as it was still drivable and told Chris I would come back when the other party's insurance was able to give me an update as I didn't want to go through my insurance and pay out of my pocket for the damage I was not at fault for. I got into another accident a few months after that and this time, my car was not drivable and I brought it back to Chris again with the payment I received from the initial claim from the first accident along with informing him of the additional damage done to my car since I last saw him. Chris got my car fixed in a timely manner and did an amazing job with the repair and am forever grateful for his work! Will definitely be back for any auto body repairs I may need in the future! Thank you so much for your help Chris!

Thank you Chris for the excellent job you did fixing my car! I had a terrible experience at the toyota dealer trying to get my car fixed after getting t-boned. Yama's, in stark contrast, was honest, efficient, friendly, communicative, and a fraction of the cost the dealer had quoted me. I would highly recommend their services to anyone!

Chris provided us with great customer service as well as a quick turn around time. The dealer asked us for twice the amount and said it would take three times as long to fix our prius. Chris was professional and kept us in the loop the entire process. He even went the extra mile to wash our car so it would be as good as new when we picked it up. Thank you and keep up the great work!

I salvaged my car after the insurance company totaled it. I decided to fix it myself since all that was broken that I could see was the fender and the front bumper was scratched up. When I brought it in for some body work and paint, I met Chris. I thought I could get away with reusing the damaged front bumper and fender but Chris told me that it would be better to replace the parts and get a new radiator tie bar. He gave me a quote but it was a too high for me. So I decided to find the parts myself to save some money. Once I got the new parts, I installed it on the car to make sure they fit well. I got the new quote for paint and minor body work. In less than a week, my car was done in fact it was finished a day earlier than promised. I gotta say WOW, my car looked brand new!!! Chris informed me that they washed my car and waxed it. They even waxed my headlights that were hazy and cleaned hem up. Chris, the manager was really nice. He took the time to tell me what they did. I will definitely come back here for more body shop repairs!
