This was my second visit with my dog, Dr was great she showed and explained my pets situation thoroughly, the clinic has equipment that gives you results same day , friendly staff, place is clean, the only downside is parking, there’s a party rental next door and they block the sidewalk

This is by far my fav vet. Early in the year we had a scary situation happen with one of our dogs and this place saved his life. They wouldn’t give up on trying to figure out what was wrong. Dr Beltran was the one who kept us updated and helped us through the process. After so many appointments I became close w one of the vet techs & now we do regular routine appointments for all our dogs because we trust them.

AMAZING FACILITY !!
Very clean! All doctors are super nice and caring. They don’t try to scam you or use scare tactics like 99% of vets.
All staff In front, all the assistants and doctors are so friendly ??
Didn’t have any trouble with my appointment , Doctors don’t rush you and take their time explaining everything
It’s a 40 min drive from me but completely worth it !??

I have been bringing my pets here for over two decades. From new borns to old age. The staff is excellent with all animals. I love the vets here.

I have taken both my cat and dog to VHC for many years. First of all, the receptionists, whether by telephone or in person, are all very pleasant and patient. The vets are extraordinary and very professional and caring, as well as the technicians, who have seen my animals throughout their years. Recently, my beautiful dog (she was 15 years old) became ill with heart problems. It is unfortunate I had to make the decision for her to go to Dog Heaven. At the time this was happening, the vet and technician, showed such compassion and allowed me to stay with my dog as long as I wanted to say goodbye.
I highly recommend VHC located in Monterey Park.

This is a good place to bring your fur babies. They truly care about your pets. Dr. Palmeri and his assistant are the best. They are professional, honest and caring. I highly recommend this healthcare center.

I have been taking my dog since I adopted her to Dr. Beltran at VHC Monterey Park. All the doctors at the clinic are patient with the pets brought in and explain in terms we can understand.

Nice facility! Seems like an actual architect was involved. The care is great here. Seems like TLC except not in your wallet! ??
Thankfully, post the C-19 era, appointments are no longer 3 weeks out!

I am recommending this place to everyone!!!
The first I had came here was 2 years ago when my 16 year old chihuahua was dying, I had called while on my way and they had someone waiting outside to receive my dog before I even arrived. Sadly my dog did pass away due to old age, but they still attempted to do everything they could. After informing us of my dogs passing they allowed me and my family to mourn the loss of our pet in one of their rooms and did not charge us anything for the visit. They then sent a heartwarming letter expressing their sorrow for the loss of my pet and offered resources for what to do post death.
A few years later, I had my other dog swallow a few seeds from a palm tree. Long story short this vet provided exceptional care and flexibility when dealing with my pet and was very understanding of my personal circumstances. I am now glad to say that I will be switching to VHC for all my pet needs moving forward! I am forever extremely grateful for all the care VHC has provided!

My Kaki has teeth cleaning and lump removal at the same time by Doctor Monica Trujillo who is very skillful and warm heart. Kaki recovered well and I am happy with their service.

Dr Beltran is the best! He saved my dog's life from kidney failure some years back and my dog is active and completely normal. I bring both my dog's back every year for their annual check up with Dr Beltran.

I have brought all my dogs here for over 15 years. Dr. Beltran has always been knowledgeable and caring, doing everything he can to save pets. However, this review is not about Dr. Beltran but rather Dr. Jennifer Gih. My dog was in great pain, and despite my explanations, she misdiagnosed her. Dr. Gih showed no compassion towards my dog, she never held or petted her, unlike her assistant who was loving and compassionate, holding her and talking to her like a little baby. Each time Dr. Gih entered the room, the invoice increased, changing three times. It was clear she was more focused on maximizing the bill than caring for my dog, who had no chance of survival, though I was desperate and hoping for a chance. I'm deeply disappointed that I couldn't wait for Dr. Beltran, who would have said she wasn't going to make it. Instead, I had to rely on whoever was available in an emergency. I would have paid the same amount without the unnecessary injections and X-rays if she had been honest about my dog's condition. I would have respected her more as a doctor if she had simply been truthful. I hope Dr. Gih prioritizes compassion, love, and care over money to become a better doctor. I highly don't recommend her as she is in the wrong field of occupation. RIP my canine child
