I had a very good experience with SG Animal
They were so busy I was surprised
But they got me in. The doctor was very gentle with my kitty who is aging and has multiple fur knots that need to be removed
They did bloodwork and then called me a few days later with the results
Their prices are fair and reasonable, and I would recommend them to anyone

My 2 kittens had diarrhea due to parasites for almost a month. I took them to another hospital twice and spent more than $300/cat but they couldn't find the cause. There was also no medicine to treat the diarrhea. I felt like they just wanted to get money from me. My 2 kittens had more severe diarrhea. Then I took them to San Gabriel animal hospital and was treated by Dr. Kiaei with all his heart. After 10 days, they gradually recovered and it only cost $300 for both kittens. The doctor only did what was necessary to quickly find the cause and treat it. He didn't beat around the bush to waste my money. I am very grateful to Dr. Kiaei.

Dr. K commits his life to helping these animals. It's not a fancy place and you will have to wait a long time but he is worth the wait. He is not an "all the frills" vet. He is a to the point vet who doesn't run a bunch of unnecessary dogs. He helped my dog through cancer surgery and chemo and 4 years later, his passing. He also takes care of his two other dogs. I'm so thankful for him and won't go anywhere else.

When I got to the office, the staff were very nice to even though they were close they still checked my dog temperature and referred me to another business that are open for me to go.

Dr K and his staff at San Gabriel Animal Hospital are absolutely the best!
Yes they are busy but keep in mind that they are trying their best to accommodate all worrying sick pet parents….Dr K is so caring about all animals. I bring all my cats here and all my friends after they seen Dr K totally agree that he is the best vet !!!!!
You just have to be patience and understanding and your furry babies will get the best care!

Their phone number doesn’t even work.
Called and it went straight to a voicemail stating the mailbox was full. Checked the website, and other sites, they all say the same thing. Boo.

The doctor is very good and does NOT add on to my dogs needs than necessary. The prices are VERY responsible… much lower than all other vets I have gone to and without compromising on quality of care. The phone system can be a bit problematic however that may have been cured because the last two times there was no issues. Parking is also a bit tricky if it is busy. I always walk out understanding any issues and I never leave wondering why I just paid so much( as in all other vets?1500 plus a visit)

Staff is wonderful and Vet is compassionate with my daughters Panda and Ternurita. Thank you. Panda is in need to get insulin twice a day, and I am sure she is still with us because the prompt response of Doctor K.
