First time in this market. Was meeting my Indonesian friend here during Chinese N.Y. celebrations. It was close to all the festival action. This is a quaint family run store. The gentleman working was super kind. From what my friend says, it's where she gets her essentials driving all the way from S.F Valley. We bought a few drinks and snacks. My friend bought us some already cooked food to try. It was amazing...I didnt know what I was eating but it was so delicious. (food is pictured)The man working says hes been there at the location for 25yrs. He was a very sweet man. As we were waiting for our friends to arrive he let us sit inside the store and I observed how he gave free drinks to every customer as the day was super hot. He gave my 2 kids toothbrushs during checkout. I recommend this store for those in the area looking for Indonesian food supplies.

Bad customer service. My sister bought two combination white rice with chicken curry , beef rendang wraps with banana leaf on Monday May 15'2023. Both of the foods was spoiled . My sister called the owner, he responded very impolitely. He had an impression that my sister lied . He didn't offer to return the money or reimburse the food. My sister was a regular customer of this place. Please check your food before leaving the place.

A nice local Indonesian food and health supply shop in Monterey Park. They're a good option if you're looking for Indonesian specialty foods. It's a little on the pricey end but not too unreasonable. Free parking in the complex lot out front.

We enjoy checking out natural/health food stores so came to see what this place had to offer. The store feels very dated and possibly 90+% of the items that have to do with the "nutrition center" section are very old. Many of the vitamin bottles are covered in a thick visible layer of dust. And many of them were expired. We saw a vitamin bottle that was 20 years past it's expiration date. There were however some vitamins that were not expired. It seems as though health and wellness was part of a passion and the owner wanted to help others by offering all these health promoting things but never took to the area and all the items sat waiting to be bought. Has the feeling that they gave up but in some small way held a sliver of hope by keeping the vitamins on the shelves. I can understand that they spent a good amount on inventory only to have it not sell nearly as well as they'd hoped. So they started stocking other items that have nothing to do with a health/nutrition center to garner some sales and bring in patrons. That's just what I imagine might have happened. The health food/vitamin section is a 1 star due to almost everything being expired and dusty/dirty.All I can say is - the guy working at the register was very nice and we did end up buying some things that weren't expired. *But be warned, if you want to support this small business that's been open for about 25 years- just check the expiry dates and prices (if there's no tag) before you buy.

The noodle is expired. The sticky rice is as hard as a rock and it was rotten. The instant noodles are expired so make sure check it. Hours are not consistent, coose early than scheduled hours, which is ridiculous and unprofessional. Not friendly, no customer service. Overpriced and do not buy the togo food, it is from the weekend so if you buy during the week, it is left over and rotten, smell so bad!!!!

Selling Indonesian groceries and foods since long time ago. They have bigger varieties. Prices are higher than other Indonesian grocery store. This store located inside shopping center, across to Hong Kong Plaza Supermarket.
