Avoid this place as they injure pets and charge a lot! I took in my pet rat for a respiratory infection and they charged me $500 which was excessive. After 6 rounds of medical injections I noticed she had a cut on her body. They cut her open and exposed her tissue and NEVER told me! I am taking my pet to a better vet in Pasadena to treat this! They left her with an open wound and she could die thanks to their negligence and abuse. Do not take your pet here!

I have been taking my dog, 2 cats since 1995 to this facility-never being a pet owner before-I was surprised to experience the professionalism from the staff and the veterinarians. They are very informative and honest. Both Dr. Rajen and Dr. Nisha always respond to any questions either by phone or emails and goes out of the way to check on my pets once we are home. I would recommend this clinic as well as their. Carson location to other parents of fur babies. I did see other reviews before I wrote mine and came to the conclusion that you can't please everyone and it seems like they are gripping about money-hello??? Prices are rising everywhere-why would you think their business i

They ask you for identification when using a PIN number with debit card. Odd don’t you think? A transaction costing $41.00. Then when you bring up it’s not appropriate they don’t want to help you. No service.

They asked for my ID when I used a debit card. Discriminatory practice and not necessary. I explained it was a debit card and I was using a pin. The transaction was for $41. This is why they have low ratings. I told them it was I appropriate and they told me they didn't want to trim my dogs nails. So don't go to this place. Discriminatory practices from a white office manager.

Super expensive but they always have availability. Definitely will take tests that seem unnecessary but if you have the mentality "better safe than sorry" it's cool ig. 700 ex rays, 400 blood work. 60 for just the appointment, and meds if the pets need it. Exhausting. The price is definitely high lol.

I recently brought my reptile in to be seen. There was noting wrong with my lizard and I just wanted a check up. The exam fee was oddly cheap for a exotics, I should have realized that was a red flag. I took my lizard and I was not expecting much . I just wanted to know the weight and gender but the Doctor was not able to tell me the gender. He stated my lizard was really sick and had an infection. Keep in mind I work in the veterinary field and He did not offer any diagnostics and just said she was really sick and needed a 7 day course of injectable antibiotics. He also stated she was extremely dehydrated, But did not offer fluids. All of this was shady and I was very disappointed. The doctor did not provide any additional information or the name of the infections or why is was caused. I showed the veterinarian that I work with and stated it was very sketchy and looked through the Dr. medical notes and did not provide the treatment plan but just stated I declined treatment which is not correct .It Should provide what treatments were recommended and if they were approved or declined. I was lucky enough to have an understanding how the vet field works and things to look for. I cant say not to come here because every one has different experiences but all I can say is ASK QUESTIONS !!! You are your pets voice and if something feels off and the doctor is not providing a reasoning on why these issues are happening or is not providing diagnostics then dont be afraid to speak up and advocate for your pets . Update on my lizard , she's alive and healthy! She did not have an infection , she was just chunky .

Dr. Sanathara and staff were so great to my dogs, Lilly and Onyx. Have been going there for over 12+ years. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my doggies!

We love the staff and service provided to us at this clinic (so does our little one, Milo). The vet is extremely knowledgeable and provides very accurate diagnosis. I highly recommend this hospital for your pets!

I’ve been bringing my dog to Dr. Sanathara and Dr. Nisha since 2017. The careful attention they give to pets is really good. Both doctors are upfront about procedures and provide options on pricing and medication costs. I love how they explain the whole process. Also the staff is very welcoming and always kind to my dog, even though he can be a handful sometimes!

We have been using Monterey Park Animal Hospital since we got our first pet in 1995 to present. The staff and Dr. Sanathara have always treated our fur babies with exceptional care showing professionalism and kindness. Also have used their boarding services several times-with little or no advance notice and felt insurmountable relief knowing that they will be taken care of. I will recommend any Pat owner to use their caring and valuable services.
