Perhaps I had this preconceived notion that any smaller mattress businesses might scam me into buying a cheap quality mattress for a really high markup price. Lo and behold, I was proven wrong. “The importance of improving lymphatic drainage to assist with detoxification of the brain and body is an often overlooked aspect of the detoxification process. The incline provided by the Samina sleep system is a way to optimize lymphatic drainage as we sleep. In addition, the support it provides to the shoulders and back is incomparable to any other mattress I've used in the past.We are enjoying our sleep system so much and plan to purchase another for our vacation home. It took a bit of adjustment from our previous mattress but I am now 80% a back sleeper after being a lifelong stomach sleeper. My Oura ring data confirms improvement in my sleep quality. “I had a wonderful experience purchasing my bedsheets through Irida, an employee at Tuft n needle in Glendale. She was really fantastic and went above and beyond. I had called in the morning looking for a specific type of bedsheets. Irida was pleasant to talk to and she searched through the inventory to help find the ones I was looking for. I just picked them up in person, and Irida was even more pleasant in person. Always nice to see such exceptional customer service.”

“I was looking for a couch that would fit our needs and not leave my wallet crying. I found Tempo on Offer Up and called to find out they have two locations. We visited one shop and found the right couch for us, but unfortunately only the display model was there. However, they were kind and accommodating and called up the other location to have them wrap the couch and have it ready for us to pick up that night even though it was about to be closing time. We got our couch that night and it has been perfect for us. This place has a lot to offer aside from couches, a great selection at reasonable prices.”

“In 2019, we bought an extra-firm queen mattress with box springs from Paul at Mattress City. We were so satisfied with the purchase, we brought a relative to Mattress City to replace their mattress. Fortunately, Paul was there that day. Purchasing the mattress was a breeze. Paul was very attentive to our relative's needs, and did not try to upsell. He was very knowledgeable about the products. He not only explained the key differences between the products, he even demonstrated how the springs work. The prices were already very competitive, and on top of that, delivery, set up, and haul away were included. Paul assured us that even though the product we had selected would be manually assembled, it should be ready in about 1-2 weeks. Exactly 6 days later, we received a call from the delivery company. The delivery team arrived on time, and set up / haul away took less than 10 minutes. Our relative complimented on the quality of the mattress. For a first time in a long time, they did not wake up in the middle of the night due to poor mattress support. Thank you, Paul! We will definitely return to Mattress City for future mattress needs.”

“On Valley Blvd just west of Rosemead, there are 4-6 Chinese furniture stores. To me, it seems like they all order from a large wholesale warehouse. They all have small show rooms. Just tell them what you're looking for and what price, and they will flip through the catalogs with you to help you find something you like. Obviously not going to find high quality items at these stores, but if you're looking for something practical and affordable, these places are better than IKEA. They are also willing to deliver and set it up in your house for you. The downside: Parking there is limited (only 1 of the furniture stores has parking). This is bargain based shopping, so you have to negotiate. Sometimes if the negotiation goes the wrong way, one might get angry... luckily there's 4 more stores right next to each other!”

He was able to make spot on suggestions for the mattresses that best fit our needs and describe all of the qualities of each mattress and the comparisons between the one he thought best for our needs with those from other manufacturers. After trying multiple mattresses, the mattress Jeffrey originally described did end up to be our choice to purchase. He then described the entire process to get a zero interest loan from Synchrony and walked me through to the completion of the loan. After completing our purchase order Jeffrey arranged next day delivery which was a really pleasant surprise. Jeffrey was not only knowledgeable and a great communicator but so patient answering all my questions. Plus he provided the best deal we could find in the area.
