“I have been a patron of presto cleaners for a few years now. They have always done a superb job. Recently I came in with a last minute cleaning. One of their machines was in need of maintenance and they were still able to meet my short turn around. I don't encourage this but they pulled it off. “Quick turnaround, clean clothes! Dropped off some items for fluff and fold, the worker was concerned (for me) that my bag was less than ten pounds because they have a ten pound minimum price. I assured him it was okay. How considerate is that?! Less than 24 hours later, my clothes were fresh and so clean. I love that they just shoot you a text when everything is ready for pickup. Will use them again!”
“I went out to dinner with my wife and 9 month year old daughter and my daughter decided to play with the butter and smear it all over my jacket. If you've ever gotten oil or melted butter on your clothes, you'll probably think it's ruined due to all the butter or oil stains but Next Door Cleaners saved my jacket! Cost about $20 to get rid of all the butter stains including the dry cleaning. I love this place!”
“The owner / worker is very kind. The machines wash and dry exceptionally well. The customer service is stellar. My favorite laundromat ever!
The only downside is the increase of vagabonds / meth addicts. On Memorial Day 2024, a vagabond broke through the door that leads to the back area of the vending machines (Management should check their cameras). Then, that same vagabond / meth addict went outside and was harassing a customer by "looking for the key to the car" underneath the customer's vehicle. The guy had catalytic converter thief written all over him. I am all for rehabilitation and helping society but that individual is clearly not ready to let go of his lifestyle.
I wish more law enforcement would drive around in the area.”

“I am definitely coming back here. I called to see the price to get me wedding dress cleaned. We got married 11 months ago and park of the wedding was in a parking lot so the bottom of the satin dress was grey and dingy. They told me the wedding dress price was 90 and with the high ratings I was sold. They charge a lot less than the people I live by so I drove 3 miles to go here instead of right around the corner which would have been $250.00. I dropped off my wedding dress and a emerald green satin ballgown. They were very kind and even stitched back together a peice of the dress that ripped. They asked for 2 weeks to try to get as much of the stain out as possible and I said go for it. I really didn't expect to get that beautiful off white back in my dress. Low and behold, they worked miracles. My dress is absolutely gorgeous again and I love what care they put into bringing it back to life. The ballgown cleaning cost was reasonable as well. If I ever need dry cleaning again I will only come here :).”

“I've been having my dry cleaning/alterations done at Magic Cleaners for 6 years and I can't say enough good things. When you enter, the shop is clean and bright and Ara always has a smile for his customers. The quality of his work is impecable. I've yet to find the stain that he can't get out. He's rushed things for me and really helped me out in a pinch. The tailoring/alterations he does are fantastic. Table cloths with cranberry stains come back looking like new. Rugs and comforters are returned in beautiful shape. His prices are fair. Parking is easy. All this and monthly coupons for his customers as well!”

“I have been coming here for over a decade and this place is my go to Laundry spot. I love their big machines for washing my comforters/blankets and/or when l have been procrastinating all of the clothes that have piled up in my laundry bags. What makes this place exceptional is their fluff and fold. This is what I use now. The clothes are weighed and you pay based on the weight. I get the weariness of having someone wash your clothes and especially your undergarments, but when you do not have two to three hours to spend doing laundry this is a great option and value. Your mileage may differ.”

“I went there around 10 AM this Tuesday morning, there were at least half a dozen other customers waiting for their laundry, etc., safety was not an issue. The first machine I went to after about 10 minutes, stopped functioning. So I called the number and asked for Ramiro and he came by within 10 minutes and made things right. They have an app that you can install to pay for your laundry, otherwise you will need a bunch of quarters to use the machines. Parking in the outside lot is a little bit busy at times so is catch as catch can.”

“Found myself in need of a 24 hour launderama and stumble-guessed my way into this gem. Big clean perfectly maintained machines, reasonable prices, helpful staff even in the dead of night and a sparkling clean facility. Who could ask for more? We were the only customers in the joint from 4 am to 6 am and that was fine too as it left the large parking lot car free and available for a spirited session of Badminton 360, the game where the only rule is never be not paying attention. Highest recommendation.”

“This is my go to laundromat for the past 6 years, its honestly the cleanest and the most friendly environment in highland park. Ive gone to almost all the laundromats in my area & this is by far the best in all aspects. The hours are from 6am-10pm, last wash load is at 9:30pm. Its safe, free wifi, bathroom, vend machines (snack, drink, & soap), parking is easy, even to grab a bite next door. Honestly I think I come here because of the laundromat lady, who is a total sweet heart. Always greets me and ask about how I'm doing. For all those bad reviews on here, its obvious you are all just a bunch of racist jerks. The laundromat isn't a 24 hr service, so dont be coming to wash literally right at closing time.”
“Love this laundromat! Very clean, very sanitized. The workers there are amazing and play really amazing music. The first time I went, they played old-school R&B. The second time I went, they played Mariachi music. So, this is how it works - you can use coins, but if you're like me, and kinda hesitant to use coins in the middle of a pandemic, you can download an app (FREE!) and it'll connect you to the machines. You can load the money via ApplePay or another card. You load your clothes in the machine, close the door, and pay for the machines through the app. (Trust me, it's a lot easier than it sounds!) The dryers are a bit pricey (like all laundromats). I think it cost me close to $2.00 to thoroughly dry my clothes (it adds up after so many loads). But other than that, I highly recommend it. Just a very clean Laundromat, very professional workers and just in a hidden nook in HLP.”

“I originally had a Friday before Father's Day appointment and Joe called and let me know his appointment was taking much longer and ask to reschedule for Saturday which I appreciated that he didn't wait until the last minute to reschedule.....on Saturday he let me know several times where he was and when he would be here. The most important part is he did a fantastic job on the SUV and my husband was very pleased with the detailing.”
“As of Jan. 27 2024, Washer #30 gave an AULcode after I put $7.00 in it. The nice clerk was in an extended pleasure conversation with a young man. I'm not one to moan over $7, but I went to #29 and it worked quite well. Otherwise whenever I wash here, it's a clean and well run facility. I'm waiting to let her know that #30 is out of service.”
“I've been there three times: twice for a bridesmaid dress and once for a dress for a wedding (which was a bridesmaid dress) and she honestly does a great job. She's so sweet too. I remember the prices being reasonable- for instance my maxi dress that's velvet that I am hemming is $18 to hem. I forgot how much I paid for the chiffon bridesmaid dress but I remember it being reasonable. I'm not sure about the pricing for dry cleaning, however when I went to another place for the same dress I paid like $75 which I thought was too much, but i dont dry clean things so I'm not sure of the pricing. I was in a hurry so I went to the other place anyway but I wish I came here instead. Also, I was in a rush this time and she said she can do it in a few days, but did offer me sooner so if you are in a time crunch I do believe she could accommodate.”
