“I was looking for a couch that would fit our needs and not leave my wallet crying. I found Tempo on Offer Up and called to find out they have two locations. We visited one shop and found the right couch for us, but unfortunately only the display model was there. However, they were kind and accommodating and called up the other location to have them wrap the couch and have it ready for us to pick up that night even though it was about to be closing time. We got our couch that night and it has been perfect for us. This place has a lot to offer aside from couches, a great selection at reasonable prices.”

“Maya and her team are among the kindest, best people I worked with for my wedding. I brought them a MillaNova dress from Viero Bridal in Pasadena that needed quite a bit of work to fit my vision - top alterations, taking in the waist, hem and bustle, etc. and I wanted custom sleeves. Through my many fittings, Maya and her team were always professional and kind, and above all were creative and solution oriented. Any issue I had or problem we ran into, Maya was equipped to solve it. The alterations were quite expensive, but I wouldn't trust anyone else to do what Maya did to my dress. Thank you, Maya and team, for bringing my vision to life! I felt like an absolute dream on my wedding day, thanks to you.”

“Such a unique store with unique, fun and interesting merchandise. I'm so happy this mom and pop store has been able to thrive over the years as it truly is a favorite to visit in my town and it's terribly hard to be in business these days. They do such a good job with their Instagram page and promoting their awesome themed art shows and various art events. I love their annual pet show as always come home with portraits of my dog from the artists that attend. I love that you can order online. They helped out a lot during the pandemic. They are always so helpful when you go in too. This last weekend I went in to find some Valentine's Day gifts for family members and sure enough left with some fun goodies. La vie is a tiny shop with big mesmerizing pieces . I love Michael aram , and I was so happy they had some of his pieces. They beautiful young lady was so helpful, she gave me different ideas, about what to choose , I ended up buying cheese marble board. I'm so glad I did . My sister in law loved it so very much . Thank you la vie there is going to be more visits and purchases on the future.”

My go-to is always the card section, where I invariably find a card for an upcoming birthday or, even better, the perfect card for a friend who could use a pick-me-up or a good laugh.
