“I had an appointment with Dr. Grigoryan today after waiting about three months to be seen. I'm so glad I chose Dr. Grigoryan from the doctors I had screened. From the moment I walked in, her staff was polite and professional. I arrived 15-20 minutes early in case there were additional forms to complete, though I had done everything online, which I greatly appreciated.
After my information was verified, the MAs took my vitals, and Dr. Grigoryan saw me right on time. She spent a solid 45 minutes with me, thoroughly reviewing my chart, family history, and patient history, and genuinely showed interest in what brought me to her as a new patient. She asked all the right questions and was respectful, nice, and attentive. I valued her insights and initial diagnosis of my concerns.
What impressed me even more was that I could do all my lab work right there at her office, rather than going to a separate laboratory. Since I wasn’t fasting, I'll be returning next week for that. The office is welcoming and chic, and parking was super easy. Despite having other patients waiting, Dr. Grigoryan never rushed me, showing her genuine care for patient well-being.
Thank you, Dr. Grigoryan and staff, for making my first visit memorable. I'm looking forward to future visits for my general health.”

Dr. Avanes is extremely thorough, uses tests so no "guess work" but really wants to find the source of medical issues in order to resolve them the best way possible. Dr. Ocampian is the same. “I love how Dr Arévalo takes care of me. I have been going to that clinic for years. Lately, I've been calling, and after 10 minutes on hold, they hang up on me. There have been 6 times that I have spoken at different times and THEY DON'T ANSWER! The service of Dr Arévalo; It's unique. Super professional and listens to my questions and/or doubts. Please talk to the people in charge of the phone. If they don't like their job, let them quit!!!”

“I was really impressed with my first visit at Dr. Chang's office. After having my vitals taken by the medical assistant, I was expecting maybe 10 minutes with the actual doctor like most medical offices. As soon as Dr. Chang came in, however, I was surprised at how thorough the consultation was. He was very personable, took the time to answer my (many) questions, and made the entire experience very comfortable. I appreciated the way he took the time to explain his reasoning for anything he recommended me and listened to my input on how I wanted to proceed to meet my goals as well. I'm extremely happy I got everything I needed to do in one single visit. I had a great experience from the ease of parking, friendliness of the front office, reasonable wait times, and actual quality of care. I highly recommend Dr. Chang.”

“I switched over to Dr. Mohammedi about a year ago and it's been a productive and proactive time since. I feel that you can have an idea of what you want to accomplish or you can just show up and he will work with you and be proactive rather than reactive about your health. I got my physical done here and I had some concerns and lots of questions and Dr. mohammedi actually took the time to go through it them and even explain some points I didn't think about. The staff is nice and they will accommodate your schedule. Dr.s table side manner is next level and he really tries to make your experience comfortable.”
“Normally I really like this place, they usually get us in and out and do what they can to find out what is wrong with you. However today, they closed at 6pm due to "inclement weather" while we were only experiencing normal rainy weather. That was disappointing because my daughter really needed some care and they were closed early. Pretty disappointing as she had to go another day w/o medication. There was no need to take her to the E.R, urgent care is what we needed in this case.”

She gave me multiple options for treatments and advised referrals would be given to specialists she recommended I should see. “I selected Dr. Yau as my primary care physician based on his Yelp reviews and my first office visit. Since then I have been even more impressed with each appointment. First, the business and administrative staff is friendly and efficient. I have had very little waiting time and the post-visit follow ups by staff are great. Second, the nurses are calm and conscientious. I liked my last primary care physician but everyone at his office seemed harried and overworked, while Dr. Yau's team (they really do feel like a team) seem to be comfortable in their roles. Last but not least there is Dr. Yau himself. He is caring, warm and comprehensive in his approach. He seems genuinely interested and curious about my health. He is an exceptional communicator; for instance, in offering explanations about treatment alternatives and recommended approaches. On top of all that, this is a rare facility in Monterey Park where those who speak English, Mandarin, and Cantonese can feel welcome.”
