Probably one of the rudest branches I have been to. The Asian girl that start w a C kept talking in Chinese to her coworker while helping me make a deposit . I was able to understand Chinese so I know they were talking trash behind about another client while helping me with a transaction. I just felt that professionalism was not there for this branch .

I called the branch asking whether the calendars had arrived. The guy said yes. So I went to the branch 15 minutes later only to be told that they were all gone.

This is by far the strangest bank I ever dealt with. I opened a account and the lady was pretty rude the whole time. Talked to me like I was an idiot or something. Then at the end I found out I can't get a debit card for 6 months (first bank I ever banked with, with such a bad policy) so I went back to shut my account down because lets be real who wants to bank with someone who won't even give them a debit card? Upon shutting the account I was met with more rudeness and charged $20 to shut the account. Dont bank here if you want to deal with rude staff and not get a debit card for 6 months. By far the worse bank!

There was a time when I liked this smaller branch. Easy in n out, short wait time. However, on the last visit, as I was walking to the door, I saw an elderly Chinese woman fall in the parking lot. I waved to the security guard, and both he an I went to offer assistance. He was unable to ask her if she wanted an ambulance (language barrier), but helped the woman inside. The bank staff didn't acknowledge her, there were three female tellers at one window working on one transaction. There were three male staff that didn't acknowledge her either. A young staff member did say something to the woman after the woman cried out (don't know what was said). Kudos to the security guard. I thanked him as I left. Oh, and the three people in line in front of me, didn't acknowledge the old woman either. What is the world coming to? Once, at McDonald's on Floral (years ago) when a man fell and was shaking because of a seizure, staff rushed out to help. One young lady cradled his head in her lap and assured him "we're here for you...". That was nice to see, and is what decent people should do.

This was my favorite branch location , I wouldn't mind driving 30 mins to get here because the tellers were so incredibly helpful & nice way better than any other bank . Until I had an issue & had to speak with the branch manager , he is rude & doesn't let you speak your mind always interrupts whenever you want to express your concerns . Left with a bad image after speaking with the manager of this location .

I received a call today from East West Bank, (Betty, ) apologizing for not taking consideration in speaking English.

Service is pretty slow here if you get stuck behind a senior citizen with a cash transaction. A couple of the tellers are great, and you can see they do their best to keep the line moving. But most of the other people working there don't even look like they care about the customers. I've waited 15 minutes in line before with only 2 customers in front of me.
