Today May 09 2024 I came to this store at 4:00pm to buy balloons for mother's day and some other stuff, as I was trying to get balloons some of the Balloons had half of string or where it was still rapped up in a circle where you couldn't reach them I ask one of the employees if she could reach them for me with a tool she pulls out a leaf rake to reach one of the Balloons I was thankful for that but then I saw another Balloon that I wanted and instead of bugging her again I decided to do it my self since I'm taller and the string was cut in half as a processed one of them as she looks to be the manager was being rude telling me that I couldn't have that balloons that I was only allowed to get the once around that one but I didn't see a issue if that Balloon was in the pile of the other one that also where hard to get too. I didn't get her name but I ask if the costumer are always right since i wasnt doing anything wrong , she responded with( no they are not ) this has been the worst costume service I have ever encountered at a dollar tree she's not a manager material nor has good customer service experience she shouldn't be working there specially with that attitude that I noticed since I entered the store.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Stand clear of IVETTE who has the worst customer service skills ever!!! She refused to fill my balloons with helium that I had purchased about a week before, regardless of me having my receipt in hand. Mind you that they had swore to me that I could bring them back to get filled. Then, when I asked to return the balloons that were not inflated (because why would I want them like that), she said I could only exchange them for something else but a different balloon. "I cannot exchange them for a new balloon because that is my helium" were her exact words. Someone, please explain her logic!!!! How can I exchange it for any other thing in the store BUT a new INFLATED balloon. Make it make sense IVETTE!!!!!!!!! Avoid this store at all costs!!! Unless you want to suffer from a severe headache!!! Do better IVETTE!!! The helium does NOT belong to you!!!

I filed a federal complaint against this Dollar Tree location with the ADA civil rights unit. I was inside the store with my service dog and an employee followed me and stopped me. She told me that I had to carry my dog while in the store. I told her specifically that my dog is a service dog and it's against the law to require someone to carry their service dog. She wasn't convinced. She demanded identification for my dog and proof that he's a service dog. She blatantly repeatedly vioated federal law. The federal law pertaining to service dogs is "you can NOT ask for Identification or proof that it's a service dog. You can only ask two questions to the owner of a service dog. The first question is "what the service dog is trained to do" and the other question "is if the dog is a service dog:. That is it. You can not make up your own rules by telling a dog owner to carry their service dog around or demand proof that it's a service dog. That's against the law. The employee or the manager could go online and they could find the federal guidelines and laws regarding service dogs that apply to public spaces , businesses and in courthouses. This wloman just wanted to start trouble and throw her weight around. Has I stood there trying to reason with this ignorant person. I told her that I had the rules in my cell phone and if she would like to see it. She declined. She said she was going to go talk to the manager about it. It was up to the manager. That's not how it works. I didn't wait around. I left because I knew she was just wanted her way and she wanted an argument. Why bother? There are other ways to deal with people like that. I give this location on Garfield and Riggin one star.

I came here to see if they had treat bags, and I was pleasantly surprised that they had a variety of sizes and designs unlike the Walmart I went to. I was also able to get a few Christmas cards and kids' books. Definitely found more things than what I came looking for, and for a good price!

I bought the car flat board air freshener in this store that was dry up with no scent. I opened one and learned to be defective, and asked to exchange other item, the manager argued with me because it was opened. Let's say, if you do not open the package wrap, you can't hang the air freshener on the car rear view mirror. She just forced people to spend $1.25 for bad item. I am not asking for a refund just exchanging the same value item. You should never buy food, car air freshener and toxic chemical items there. She even took my payment receipt. The credit card receipt is a customer proof of purchase and payment (customer property). That manager is discrimination as I am not Hispanic. This store only favors a particular race! If Google has no star...I would leave nothing on it. She doesn't know what customer service means!

Cashier was rude and/or incompetent. I bought 25 items and I had to bag it myself because cashier didn't. I didn't say a word because she was just not having a good day and had an attitude. Elizabeth, I hope your day gets better.
