Been coming here for so many years! Wilson used to be the shop owner here but he had recently retired. Everybody here at this establishment is very nice, honest and accommodating. It is very hard to find and trust an honest and reputable mechanic nowadays.

For the past 15 years or so, I had my cars repaired here. Owner Wilson, an expert with decades of experience in automotive repairs, always did troubleshooting himself. He never overcharged me for any job done. The repair shop was crammed with customers' vehicles at all time. I had to send in my cars minutes after the business opened in the morning in order to get them fixed on the same day.Things changed. The shop was no longer crowded and the number of employees also significantly declined.One day I took my car there for brake fading issue. The manager welcomed me. As I hadn't seen Wilson for a few times, I asked about his whereabouts. And the manager told me the owner retired. Anyway, I left my car there for a checkup. The manager called back later, saying "all the brakes (pads & shoes) are no more (worn out)." He wanted to start the repair by replacing all brake pads and shoes. Then he would perform a brake bleeding, and the last, change the booster. The estimate for the entire job was around $600. I gave him the green light.After a 10-day long wait in patience, I got the ready for pick-up call. Upon test drive, I found the fading problem remained. The manager claimed all procedures were done. He even showed me the old brake pads, shoes and booster. This move actually raised my suspicion. Because the old brake pads still had more than half of their life span. And he said "no more" in order to get my approval for the repair. A blatant lie! Who knows whether he did anything other than the replacement of brake pads & shoes? The booster on the floor looked pretty new. Seeing my dissatisfaction, he dropped the price to around $500 and wanted me to test drive the car for a week. Of course, the fading never disappeared.In a nutshell, he charged me $500 for a $250 job and kept the problem unsolved.Will never go back there. And I feel so sorry for the business owner, who picked the wrong person to work for him.

I would like you express my gratitude to Mr Wilson, whom has retired. But he has left great mechanics behind to continue his legacy as a great repair shop. True professionalism. These guys are great and know what they are doing. I have been coming to this shop for over 15 years. Now that I live in Anaheim california, I still drive all the way to Monterey Park so they can service all of my 5 vehicles.Tommy has always been a great representative of D&D repair shop...Kudos!!
