Pharmacy drive-thru is not bad, inside it’s another story. They are always understaffed and paying via cashier takes forever. Aisles blocked due to restocking but no one is restocking because they are understaffed. It feels like there’s only 2 employees per shift.

The pharmacy of this CVS drug store is one of less professional and courteous pharmacies that I have ever used.There is a pharmacy technician who would pull off some of her own tricks in order to get by her days working at the pharmacy. She is downright weird.Tonight, I picked up my family member’s medicines at the drive thru window. I requested to have a consultation with a pharmacist. This pharmacy was spitting out her advice to me like a robot and she did it with her eyes closed throughout the brief consultation. She was very impolite so to speak.DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY AS I HAD COMPLAINED AGAINST THE PHARMACY TECHNICIANS AND THE PHARMACIST BEFORE AND THEY DO NOT HAVE THE DESIRE TO MAKE IMPROVEMENT ON THEIR SERVICES!!!A rather disorganized “big name” pharmacy that will only drive away the customers with time.It is being run like a circus!!!

Today 10/5/2023 California time:1:00pm , I bought Covid-19-Test kit at CVS store Monterey Park CA located 313 S Garfield Ave, What confused me is the expire date , it showed on bottom label is year 2023-12-29 , but top label is year 2024-7-29, in fact there are total three layers label, the first expire date I can’t see clearly, I took pictures all of them,I doubt it doesn’t work and want to return, but the cashier and store manager told me it is final sale and can’t return! The key problem is why this test kit has three different expire date? I think it critically cheats customers when you find this issue especially when you got coronavirus ! If possible I can send pictures of them on website by Google

o2.16.2o23Review on the Pharmacy, Pharmacists: I used to like this CVS a lot esp I lived nearby. I printed hundreds of photos for my scrapbook and got all the prescriped medications here. Clearly, things have changed, like flipped upside down. Probably evenryone's new. I wasn't going to make a big deal of this, but customer service means everything to me right now. I, myself, have been in customer services for 10+ years and had mentioned in other reviews. Customers aren't always right when they're not being reasonable. Maybe to them, I was not being reasonable here but heck! After a long day of work, I am here picking up some allergy medicines for my kid. The pharmacy had the signs at the very top with Consultation on the left and Pick-Up on the right. I lined up on the right which that's what I was there for. This smart a** pharmacist goes and lectured me I was in the wrong line doubting I was the next person in line, while the other person even told him I was there first. I pointed out their sign and this pharmacist, Mr. K argued with me, yeah well, it should be on this side. Yeah well, why don't YOU go fix your damn sign! Not only that, that standing sign with maintaining 6ft apart was also right in the middle. They moved it before I went back to take the pic. Now it's on the left just there for show. Then he told me it's not ready for pick up and wasn't even able to tell me why the medication wasn't ready. He directed me to the Drop Off area and someone will assist me. Not even a spirit was there to assist me. After a couple minutes, another pharmacist noticed me and asked if I had a question. So she proceed to check the system and told me it wasn't covered by insurance but I can purchase it over the counter. She was nice enough to show me where it was but nope, they didn't even carry it. We actually had the doctor print out the prescription order that was sent to this pharmacy, it had two medications on it. I went back to ask her if neither of them were covered and she said she only remembered seeing one. Well, thank goodness I had proof to show her otherwise they would think I am the crazy one again. Does anyone do their job right in this location?It's pretty clear why this CVS has such low rating. Just look at all other low reviews. Pretty much all bc of the pharmacy section. Then again, it is called CVS PHARMACY.Thank you, Yelp, for letting my angers out so I don't cause a scene in person and make others look stupid. You play a major role for my mental wellness.
