The optometrist was exceptionally knowledgeable, helping me find the perfect pair of glasses. The frames were stylish and durable, and the lenses were precisely fitted. The cost was significantly lower compared to other optometrists in the area, without compromising on the quality. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase.

Whomever designed the MP Market Plaza was probably not a local or familiar with the statistics for surveying the off the charts traffic flow planning. I understand having human people direct traffic may put them in harms way, but they didn't plan this so well when they setup next to a freeway and two neighboring populations. Ooof! We'll try another time. Yikes!

I usually have a nice experience at this particular Costco, but today, I was embarrassed by the lack of knowledge of a manager and a nine-year employee who didn't even know their own policies. I went to pay with my Costco shop card after the cashier rang up everything I had purchased. The cashier assistant (TA) informed me that I had to provide him with an email in order for the shop card to be accepted even thou the card had been downloaded to my phone. I told him I didn't have the email, and the email never mentioned it had to be presented to use the card.TA contacted his "Sup" after that, and a female supervisor came, informing me that it was policy to show the email or I would not be able to use the shop card. She said she would ask her management and turned to leave when I told her once more that I had read the email and that she was mistaken. My level of anxiety was through the roof as the line became longer, and customers were watching and listening. Finally, the "sup" authorized TA to scan my shop card without requiring an email. To prevent embarrassing another member, this should serve as a teaching opportunity for the staff to have a better understanding of the Costco shop card policy.

Have you ever bought a mobile phone to trade in a new one? Check with Verizon to see if the price they gave you is correct. My price is wrong and they don’t care.

This particular Costco for some reason gets super hectic. It feels as if everything is cluttered & the shoppers are so frantic. It's chaotic! Parking was hard to find. However despite all the negatives, the staff is very friendly & helpful.

Pretty standard Costco and overall friendly staff. I like that they have some good deals sometimes but not always. I wouldn't assume bulk is always cheaper. They someone's have people giving out samples and their food court is pretty efficient. They have a self-checkout section as well now. Parking gets really crowded and if you go before they open there is a line that wraps around the bulding. Once people are let in, the line is minimal.

Costco has been our place to go grocery shopping for years, I have never had any bad experience with customer services. However, 10/27/2023 I was picking up a couple items after we checked out and paid at cashier, the person who works there (his name is Wince), he has the worst attitude with customer. My family and I we were there at the window to pick up stuffs, we looked around and there was no one inside the picked up window , so my sister said excuse we would like to pick up some stuffs to the guy who just stood in front of that window chatting with other guys. Wince was so attitude to us with his aggressive attitude toward customer. While we were waiting for him to look for stuffs, the other worker came by and asked if everything is okay or if someone is helping us because she saw that we were standing there waiting. I responded “Yes, but the help seemed to be difficult”, then that guys name Wince heard I said that and was even more aggressive and said “you know what I’m gonna have someone else’s helping you”. He started to drop the stuff on their cabinet and left.Costco at this location should review their employees attitude towards costumers, if he doesn’t like to work there please find another job. He needs to fix his attitude. I understand sometimes people are having a bad day, but leave it outside of work. This traumatizing situation makes me feel very unsafe and awkward to shop at this location.

Ernie is amazing. If you have been trying to look for any type of wine he is your guy. I’ve been looking for the perfect somewhat sweet red wine and I cannot thank him enough. I’m so happy and I will be coming back here only to get his recommendation. Costco, Ernie is a gem employee and because of him I will be back to this specific location to purchase my wine

WORKERS ARE RACIST TO ASIANSGirl with glasses wearing green plaid working on 9/17/2023 around 6PM by the entrance needs to get her manners together. I walked in, showed her my card, and turned around literally 5 seconds later because I felt something drop out of my bag. I wanted to turn around and pick it up. She stuck out her hand, nearly touching my breasts, and spoke to me as if I didn't speak English. "No no no, go around." She made me walk ALL the way around the store, through the crowd and check out lines to pick up the lip balm I dropped 2 feet away from me.What if I received a family emergency call? You'd still force me to navigate through the crowd to exit? You literally saw me walk past you 2 seconds ago. WHAT COULD I HAVE STOLEN?There was definitely some RACISM going on by the way she spoke to me, as if she expected all the Asian customers that frequent the store can't speak basic English.I will take "I'm sorry ma'am but you have to use the exit" not the "no no no." That is how you speak to an infant or a dog, not an adult. Disrespectful.I'm calling in to customer service tomorrow. I'm not one to give retail workers a hard time but respect go both ways. This is NOT how you go about speaking to anybody. This location has a lot of Asian customers so the workers act like you're dumb and uneducated if you're Asian. Reading other reviews, it seems I'm not the only one that feels that way. It's s the most crowded out of the Costcos I've been to. You bet I'm not coming back. Just go to another Costco. Don't support this place.

It was my first time going to Costco and tried out the food, since it was recommended by others. The price point was really good and the food was tasty but the customer service was bad. I ordered a whole pizza and some drinks and 2 churros. There is no sign to point out that you have to wait in a different line when you order a whole pizza. Keep in mind that I did go 30 minutes prior to closing, (I was not aware that they closed so early being that it was my first time there) but all the workers were annoyed and made sure I knew it by telling me that I was SUPPOSED to go to 1 line for pizza and another line for anything else. The workers were yelling at the crowd saying what they had left, and were slamming the gates when they were closing. There is a way to be stern, and there is a way to be rude.If I'm paying for a service, I'm paying for the experience: the shopping, the food, and customer service is part of the package.

I actually love the Monterey Park Costco compared to awful Costco warehouse in Alhambra. However, when I see the gas prices at Monterey Park are as much as 15 cents per gallon higher than other Costco's, that is a huge strike against this Costco. There are non-Costco gas stations in the San Gabriel Valley with lower prices than the Monterey Park Costco according to Gas Buddy. I go to Costco with the expectation that I'm getting the best price on my purchased items, but apparently that's no longer the case with gas.

My favorite Costco of all the ones I have been to! Come early in the morning, if possible, to avoid all the traffic! The parking spaces and the store aisles are big and easy to move around in. There is also a easy self-checkout area. The food court is right outside the entrance. You can order in line or the self-checkout.They have a great variety of goods and some are cheaper than other places (i.e. rice). They offer a lot of Asian foods, which is great.

What, how is it that I have not done a review on this Costco?I come here so often, sometimes it feels daily...Helps that it is next to Home Depot, which I feel I also come here daily.Quality/Quantity - Mainly come here for gas.Usually easy in and out, but one time it took an hour to get out due to the closure of the back entrance! Which caused a HUGE bottleneck at the exit.Where is the local beer...? I have to support the locals!Atmosphere - Consistent. Outdoor food court.Open 7 days a week, see picture.Plenty of parking, especially since I park between Costco and Home Depot.Service - Good .Price - $4.85 a gallon; the car that I leave in LA takes premium...Owner Comment - Congrats on your success at this location since 1993.Congrats on all your success since 1976, since Price Club.
