These new late night employees are not it. I get out of work super later. This is the 3rd time I've showed up and they're closed around 1:40. The last night I showed up this older women clearly hates being there, decides to mop at 1:50ish. Which i think is peak business since bars are just closing. A guys asked if theyre open and she replies "were open but i should be closed" yet it's 24/7. I get the need to mop but every other employee before her seemed to do the same thing just fine. I've been coming here for years i live in the area and every other employee has been super nice and friendly. Yet these past 2 weeks are just embarrassing.

Worse service ever. I went in to buy sodas after work, but as I was there I decided to do some scanning for my Shopkick App. As I was doing that a lady from behind the register approached me and said I was not allowed to scan and I needed to leave the store. I explained to her what I was scanning and she yelled to leave and that I couldn't buy the sodas I had in my hand. I told her I wasn't doing anything wrong, but she said she wouldn't sell the sodas to me. Another customer was inside and said he would purchase the sodas for me and she refused. She then said I can buy it, but that I could never return to that 7-Eleven.

When I lived in Monterey Park, I came in here all the time and only experienced extremely uncomfortable behavior twice at the hands of the same employee. The older East Asian gentleman with glasses. The first time, he pretended to clean things to stand as close to me as possible in different parts of the store. I told him he was making me uncomfortable and he told me he spoke no English (but you were just working the register, my good man). Anyway, upon asking him if he was watching me, he quite literally ran out of the store and did not come back in. It was bizarre. The second time, he canceled my card transaction and told me my card declined. I finally spoke to corporate, and they were so convinced that his behavior was unacceptable and odd, that they opened a case twice about it..Twice. Anyway, everyone else here seems normal. Just really rather odd behavior from that guy. lol.
