this store has good inventory most of the time but they are credit card only. No Cash for whatever reason . Staff is nice , just no cash purchases.

They have the perfect California clothes and Angela was friendly and helpful during my purchase. I can not wait for the new fall line and the coming holidays, so I can get out shopping again.

I have had two really great experiences with this store. Bailey went above and beyond trying to help me order pants that I love. Thank you Bailey and the management at James Perse Montecito. I will always call this store first when looking for new clothes.

I purchased a Navy blue Polo last fall and nicked it. A small hole in front, the second time I wore it. I just recently dropped it off to see if they could sew it up. I just got it back and it looks great, the repair is hardly noticeable. They steamed it and returned it to me ready to wear. Much thanks to the Angela for her assistance and kindness.

Worst customer service I've ever had. I purchase from James Perse frequently and sometimes from the Montecito store. I bought a pair of pants there ($266 pants) recently and after wearing them only about 6 times the pants inner leg seem opened up. It didn't tear or get worn out but it simply came apart. I had this happen at least once before with a pair of pants and previously i just decided to have it sown up on my own. This time I wanted to make the company aware of the issue and see if they would fix it or rectify the issue. All I wanted was to get it fixed and ket them know about the issue. I dropped off the pants at the store and was told the mgr would call me back. She did ( Angela) and she began to defend all the ways it wasn't an issue with the pants. She said things like "they must have been to small of a size for me" to arguing with me about the number of pants I purchased at her location and why that mattered etc. This was terrible customer service! All I wanted was for them to be fixed ( a $10 Expense). She would not do that. My patronage was not worth that. I never write reviews i just dont go back normally. If I had taken this to any other store, Nordstroms or Banana rep they would have assisted me instead of laying out a long argument as to why I must be wrong. I love the feel and look of Perse but I have had several items where the stitching just came apart over the last couple years. A shirt, 2 pair of pants and a coat. And now with the total disregard for my experience by this terrible manager I can't buy from this company any longer. I thought they were an up scale brand. Guess not.
