Whenever I want to find something special for my home or for friends or family, I always start with The Vintage Fox! The inventory is really special and constantly changing with new pieces.”
“Lewis & Clark is forever my go to shop for all things unique and charming. From jewelry to books and linens, it's my only Christmas decoration destination. A shopper since 1995.I enjoy the fine things in life, and so it is.”
“Super unique and cool thrift store, they have soooo many different things to buy. You’re bound to find something you like. Only 1 dressing room but it doesn’t get that busy and no public bathroom.”
“Like a moth to a flame, I was drawn to this store when it was all warmly lit and filled with gorgeous furniture. This is a must stop and shop at location, on my list of vintage stores in Santa Barbara.”
“This is a darling collection of vintage everything. A perfectly curated selection of curios, furnishings, housewares, accessories, and collectibles. We found a couple of great pieces and will be sure to stop in again next time we're in town!”
“Annual camp out always includes cruising downtown Carpentaria and the Laughing Buddha delights every time we visit. The prices are always right and the vibe is high and tight~”
“I went to the House of Honey and was very impressed with the amount of products for sale. The owner told me about propolis and decided to buy a couple bottles along with some delicious honey to start my allergy spring season off. Will definitely be going back.”
“This place is awesome with great stuff to see and also pretty good prices for an antique store. Also, the poeple who run it are so nice and helpful! Highly recommend stopping by when you are in town!”
“What a find!! If you're looking for some very unique and interesting antique furniture, fixtures or any kind of art pieces, you gotta check this shop out! It's like an antique furniture store in the front and an art gallery in back lol! It also has lots of outdoor decor outside the entrance. I found a gorgeous desk and some light fixtures of interest- even a lovely panel of stained glass! And there were tons of beautiful paintings and sculptures wow! The owner, Judy, was there and she was sooo friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable! The hours are 12-4 Tuesday - Saturday but they take appointments too. My only issue is that the prices were quite steep for our budget, but Judy seemed more than willing to negotiate. I could certainly drop quite a bit of cash in here lol! Definitely planning a return trip!”
“Young guy working on Saturday morning 10/1 asked me to leave my backpack at the front. There's a woman walking around with a backpack right in front of us and he says nothing. He needs to be trained properly. Otherwise, good store. I have been going here for a year or two.”
“My husband and I made this our last stop before we left Summerland after a wonderful vacation. It did not disappoint. My husband and I are major antique/vintage collectors so we've been to many antique stores over the years and collected many treasures, and we were impressed with how diversified the selection was at this store as well as how well maintained and organized the store was.Visitors to this store should know that the pieces they sell are seemingly museum quality antiques and vintage items from a variety of origins and time periods so there is a large variance in price, but that should not stop shoppers from checking it out. Check out the little glass cases especially...that is where we found our art piece! There are some items on the the very high price scale (way out of our price range), but then there are also smaller pieces on the lower end of the scale of price in great condition, which worked out for us because we found an incredible art piece within out price range. For reference, we only paid $166 for our roughly 10" x12" art piece on wood.We at first found two small original oil Parisian paintings that were priced at $150 each, which we thought were reasonably priced (we strongly considered purchasing those for a minute) until we found a beautiful religious painting on wood. The piece was entitled "Lady of the String" in the description. We later found out after much online digging that it was actually more than likely a Giclee reproduction of a version of the painting "Mary the Undoer of Knots" of Milan origin, produced by the Fratelli Bonella production company (they produce sacred images). As an added nicety, we were given a 20 percent discount on the piece as well. We were very happy with the service we received and will cherish our new artwork always. If you're in Summerland, happy antique/vintage hunting!”
“Amazing collection of British silver, furniture, costume hats, paintings and more, jumbled into a tiny store (up on the left near the Montecito Market), with the even tinier and endlessly fascinating Josephine herself residing. Worth a trip!”
“I love this place I could never get enough. Do you like his still talk about it Yep I take my kids in there but they're disciplined they know not to touch a damn thing is I got some really good stuff in there or you could always add your front yard are you? I have a good memory so don't be afraid to go into one they may have something that's just a little bit of that says hey I got you.”

962 Linden Ave, Carpinteria“Best antique shop I've ever visited. There's something for everyone and it's so well styled, it is simply a joy to walk through. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a wonderfully curated selection of items. I found one of my prized possessions there – an antique subway sign from NYC's 14th Street Union Square Subway stop.”
“Such a hidden gem! They have everything from unique rocking chairs, wicker furniture, surfboards, art, and antique bits and bobs. Walk around here for an hour or two and see what you find. Wayne is super helpful and offers fair bargains for items. One of my absolutely favorite spots in town!”
“Can't believe I haven't written a review about this antique store. This is the place I shop at every time I'm in Santa Barbara. Huge selection of antiques and Knick knacks. So much to look at and buy, at affordable prices. The owner is friendly and welcomes all his customers as they come in and thanks them as they leave.”
