If you are ever in the Montebello area you must visit this family owned Armenian market. They carry puri bread from the famous San Fernando Valley Victory Bread bakery brought in fresh daily. They also sell homemade hummus, tabouli, dolmas and other items. They have a great assortment of feta cheeses. The owners are the sweetest!

Lovely little lady working the cashier. Everyone's so kind. They have a wide selection of food groceries and wine. Lots of Armenian food s. Great place.

Looking for Mediterranean goodies that are hard to find? Look no further than Shirak market. My friend told me about this place so now me and my family come here whenever we need something for our dishes (I'm Armenian) That we can't find in traditional grocery stores. If you're from the Middle East and are looking for a local market that provides ingredients for our special dishes , this is your one stop shop! They have a fully stocked deli and produce as well as your traditional Mediterranean spices. Oh and did I mention they have FRESH BREAD DAILY! Smells heavenly, even from the parking lot! It's located in the GarMar plaza right next to La Michoacána and Little Caesars. Plenty of parking, never had an issue, even on weekends.

Shirak's is the best place for Armenian and Georgian breads! Add the cheese and pick up Gata and some produce and we are very happy! A terrific small market!

This particular Shirak Grocery & Deli is great - service and section is always spot on and this is the only market I know that serves tri-tip in the hot food deli - and its delicious !!!
