Actually, I accidentally walked into Macy's Backstage/Home. I thought I was walking into Macy's home that connected to the regular Macys but I was wrong. This location is in the middle of the mall and the main Macy's location is on the far end. It was a Saturday and hardly anyone was here. That doesn't speak for the crowded mall.. NOTE TO SELF - Don't go out on Saturdays After walking around for a bit, I really liked the décor, candles, kitchen accessories and even home accessories this particular Macy's carry. Its kind of like a Ross, Tj Maxx etc... if you want good deals you need to be patient and look at the clothes one by one. I'd consider coming back if I needed décor for my home.

Great staff made me feel comfortable and in no rush vs my experience at the other Macys store I prefer to shop here from now on ,you don't have a creepy asset protection manager stalking you !or making associates feel uncomfortable I've been shopping here for years and made friends with associates new and old I feel like I'm a part of the Macys family and it's a shame to see where it's gone !

I would like to take the time to write a review of Macy's in Montebello. My wife got me a Seiko watch thru the internet last December for Christmas and now in June the watch stops working for no reason. The watch is automatic and I took the watch back to Macy's and I was told that if I didn't get the insurance online there's nothing Macy's can do about it. The watch cost was $500 and have them tell you there's nothing they can do, that got my blood boiling. So all I can say don't buy anything online that Macy's can't back it up... You will regret spending your money. Besides the help from Macy's employees was very poor, oh better said " didn't care about the issue at all" be aware people.

If you haven't been or heard of Macy's Backstage then you might be missing out on huge savings off name brand items. In short, Macy's Backstage is like a Marshall's, Ross or Burlington Coat Factory except that all the items are exclusively from Macy's. You can find excellent deals on almost every category within Macy's (except fragrances). I found amazing deals on shoes and track pants. The quality and selection is excellent and of course varies from week to week. Make it a point to stop by Macy's Backstage. It's located on the upper level right before you head into the actual Macy's store. Don't forget your Macy's card. Enjoy your visit!

i wonder why we don't have this in LA? i never knew what this was, but it is where all the clearance and discounted items from Macy's go. And who doesn't want a good bargain? i got ryka walking shoes for $29 and they are so comfortable. btw if you have a Macy's credit card you can use it here!
