They overcharge. They charged me 35$ to take out a nail in my tire. And they don’t tell you the price until AFTER they start working, so you really have no choice but to pay their price. Not very honest,

Please do not go to this place, the person who serves has no respect at all. I went to the smog check, once you paid you were screwed because they are going to do whatever they want, out of nowhere they are going to tell you come another day it is already closed and their schedule on the wall says that they close at 6pm. He's going to make you tired by making you come back as many times as the guy wants. It is the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. Besides, they hide so as not to serve you!

Went to 5J's for some work on my Mercedes Benz SUV after having gone to another auto shop that worked on my car but the problem of my check engine light coming back shortly after. I went to Jay and he immediately found the issue and fixed it. His promptness and professionalism made a huge difference to where I will be happy to return for continued servicing.

I have been coming to J's auto shop for more then 6 years. From day one he always honest and up front about prices and parts that any of my vehicles need. Very professional always on time a man of his word. If he tells you to come at a certain time and date he makes sure that you are taken care of.

Jay was the J of the 5J’s family owned business that helped me when I recently stopped by to see about getting some service done and was impressed and refreshed having need for a local mechanic so just finished replacement of my crankshaft positioning sensor, CV boot axle and traditional oil change since been around 4K since last change out (I have tried to complete every 7,500 miles or sooner since the manual says 7500 but I drive hard exactly 400,000 miles hard so I guess I am doing something right.Back to the outstanding service Jay provided. I will be bringing Betsy back to 5J’s for future maintenance.Highly recommend when neededThanks again JayServices: Engine repair

Don't use this service. don't go there.They are stealing our personal items from our cars. My Bank of America checkbook and expensive perfume were stolen from my car today.And it's an official Volvo service!! ;((

I left my car at this shop a week and a half ago. I was told my car would be ready the next day, it wasn’t. Since then, the shop has been closed & no one is answering the phone. Randomly an older man answers and he pretends to not be related to this shop. He hungs up. At this point the police is getting involved. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. SCAMMERS STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Too notch . Was having issues with a sensor and my smog check. Jay was super cool and knew his stuff. I Highly recommend this place for smog or repairs.

took my truck to another mechanic because a 'check engine' light came in. he fixed it but a week later it came back on again so he told me to bring it back in. Once again he fixed it saying he found a bad ignition coil so charge for part ONLY. A week or so later the light came back on, so I decided to try out Five J's Auto service. He looked at the parts that were installed by others and knew what the problem was. He replaced ignition coils, changed oil and filter and smogged the truck over night. haven't had a problem with it since. turns out ignition coils other mechanic installed we're not compatible with my engine causing the "check engine" light to come on.

If you're looking for an honest mechanic, stop right here! Five J's was a God sent. Have a toyota mini truck with a frozen a/c compressor, radiator replacement, and fan belt replacement. They did quick work and showed replaced parts . All at a reasonable price ....will be going back definitely in the future.
