They need a better system to receive people. As others mentioned, the wait times are horrible.

What an enormous POS place, got my cats dewormed here, asked the people that work there if I needed to make an appointment for the second round, the said no you don't need one, you can just walk in. Two weeks later we try to walk and and they say we can't because there's a waiting list, I explained to them that they told us we could walk in and they reluctantly "squeezed us in" and told us that it would be 30 minutes and they would call us and there was one person ahead of us, they told us to wait in the car so we did. Two hours later no call so we went to the door and they told us there was two people ahead of us so we just left. Avoid this place, they lack professionalism, they don't have their shit together here, I didn't see the terrible reviews of this place until now and I'm telling you the negative reviews are 100% legit.

Wait times are horrible. I waited 2 hours, They told me I was next in line. I called thirty minutes later just so they can tell me I have three people before me. I go here because prices are somewhat affordable, but I'd rather pay another clinic else a little more. I can't be waiting three hours Just for some vaccine shots.

Casillas Veterinary Hospital offers exceptional care for pets, though due to its popularity, be prepared for a long wait.
First, the clinic does get very busy, which is a testament to the quality of care they provide. When you arrive, you’ll need to sign in on a list taped outside and wait to be called. This system can be a bit inconvenient, but once you are called, the level of service and attention your pet receives makes it worth your time.
Recently, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put my dog to sleep. The staff at Casillas Veterinary were incredibly compassionate and supportive throughout the entire process. They handled everything with the utmost care and sensitivity, which made a difficult situation a little more bearable.
Despite the busy atmosphere and the waiting process, the staff’s dedication and compassion make this place truly special. I highly recommend Casillas Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for a caring and professional veterinary clinic in the Montebello area.
Another quick note is that parking can get a bit hectic, with only a few spots available inside a parking lot and street parking when available.

If I could give this place a zero I would.
Let me start out by warning people as many of the previous posts have-->do not take your animal to this facility if you care about your anima!! I made the mistake of taking my service animal to this facility for testing, and follow-up care that was basic, and not invasive. The initial visit was not a great experience, and it was not a horrible experience, but there were many people outside of the building who were sharing their horrible experiences. One lady went as far as verbally warning people not to allow their animal to be seen by this facility, and recommending they take their pet to a different nearby facility. I wish I would have listened to her when she was giving the warning!! I made the mistake of taking my beloved girl back to this facility for a follow-up, only after the doctor took predatory action to call me, and instruct me to do so for her care. That fake doctor should be called devil and her name is Sandoval. "Dr" devil Sandoval. She unnecessarily sedated my animal after I instructed her that she could not be sedated. Sandoval lied to me, and told me the only way that my animal could receive treatment is if she was sedated. And like most other owners who are desperate to get their animal the care that they need, I reluctantly agreed to a mild sedation after giving her instructions on how to handle my girl. I believed that Sandoval would follow my instructions, and ethical practice standards would be followed as well. I believed WRONG! Sandoval intentionally injured my service animal, and she has never been the same since! Many keep asking how this facility stays in operation. The way it stays in operation is because it has a contract with different cities, as well as the county, and it also has a contract with the ASPCA. If you have ever had a bad experience with this facility, or your pet was injured, please contact the State board of veterinary medicine, and file a complaint regardless of how long it has been. The state needs to receive these complaints even if they are outside of the time frames they allow for filing, so that a case can be built against this facility, and the "doctors" aka predators. This is animal abuse, and veterinary malpractice. This is negligent in their capacity as a professional. All this facility cares about is MONEY. Please help shut this place down so there's no other victims of their predatory, cruel, unethical and inhumane treatment and operation. This cruel, inhumane, unethical, predatory, fraudulent scam of a business called animal welfare medical service provider aka casillas vet hospital should not be receiving tax payer money either. My experience is so horrible, I'm still traumatized, and my service animal will never be the same. She didn't deserve to be injured, or mistreated, as none of the other victims of this facility deserved to be injured, mistreated, or murdered!!! So please, write to the board and share your experiences. Also, contact the department of consumer affairs, contact the aspca, and contact your local representative, and government officials to file a complaint with their office, too. This facility, and operation must be shut down ASAP. In the name of animal welfare, and in advocacy for the animals that have been mistreated by this facility in the past, and on behalf of all the deceased victims- please community come together so we can collectively shut this place down! Cancel casillas license to operate and practice, and dismantle the aspca. Cancel "DR" Devil Sandoval's license to practice, and any other employee involved in this operation.

I feel like they offer x-rays but they don’t actually do them . I heard a story someone got a X-ray here for their dog and kept buying the medication and when taken to another vet they did a X-ray and showed a big tumor . .. I took my cat today and I feel they didn’t do anything? They said they gave him shots and IV but I didn’t see with my own eyes , I still see him the same . She wanted me to do X-ray and blood work , I will update my cat condition soon .

I had a terrible experience. I came in at 8:30am, knocked on the door the lady who assisted me was extremely rude, discourteous, and spoke in a condescending manner. She told me to come back at 12:00 pm to sign in, then to come back at 1pm and wait until they call me. I waited for a few hours then I decided to call after three hours. The receptionist said that my waiting time would be at least one more hour. I waited for a total of FOUR HOURS to be seen. The receptionist finally called and she still had the audacity to ask “are you still here” after waiting for four hours to be seen. On top of that, I was ahead of a few individuals on the list. Yet the people who were behind me were seen before my cat. I noticed that they assisted all of the dogs before my cat although my cat was ahead of the other dogs. Further more, one of the technicians was extremely ill mannered, and snarky. It also took the receptionist more than 35 minutes to check out and to process my payment. I left after 5:00pm. This is the most unpleasant experience I have had at a vet. They need a new system to improve the way their clinic operates.

They are always closed and no appointments available. Sometimes we miss work only to show up and for them to closed for the day! I ended up changing vets and finding a place that actually makes appointments and are opened Saturdays too. It's so sad because my family has been going to casillas since the 90s but they're not the same as back in the days.

Long wait time, only one veterinarian in the office. No courtesy call or txt as to how much longer the wait will be. I am here for 3rd set of vaccines, was told the wait shouldn't be that long. My arrival time was 8:30 am it is now 10:10 am. PREVIOUS VISTS WERE MUCH FASTER.
