I've been coming to Angel's for about 10 years. I brought my wedding dress to get tailored and it was a nightmare. Angel called me three months before my wedding informing me she couldn't finish the work she had started. I went to pick up the dress only to find that it was completely stained. It looked like water had spilled on it and never cleaned. There were black marks on it. When I pointed it out the employee tried blaming me for leaving it there "too long" when the time frame was agreed upon by Angel and myself.Angel eventually got the stains out but she never apologized to me and continued to blame me for it. I had to take my dress half cut up to another tailor less than 3 months before my wedding.I would not recommend Angel's.

This is the first negative review I’ve ever left in my life because I am THAT offended by what she did to my pants.I wanted them tapered, but she oddly only tapered thru the thigh and left the rest of pant legs enormous, so all 3 pairs look like some sort of ill-fitting ballon pant (all of them straight-legged cotton pants).When she did the, “fitting,” she repeatedly cut me off to assume what I wanted, straight-up told me not to, “waste [your] fifteen dollars,” taking in one of the waists, and didn’t even bother to pin anything on 2/3 of the pants. (Does she just memorize the measurements for every pair of pants for every customer?) On the pair she did pin, she put a single pin in a single leg. On top of that, the right legs on each pair are uniformly wider/less-tapered than the left - what the heck did she do to my pants?When I called back to ask for help, they first told that a seamstress wouldn’t be available during any time I can make it during work, so I thanked them and said I’d have to go elsewhere. The woman (not the seamstress) called back shortly after to say that I can bring my pants in on Saturday for her to pin. Since she’s not the one who alters, however, I’d then have to leave my pants there for nearly another week until the seamstress who originally messed them up is back from vacation.No. Thanks.I’m sure this place is fine if you need regular dry cleaning and the occasional simple hem, but DO NOT expect care or diligence in alterations.Services: Alterations

I got my dress altered here since I’m on the shorter side and the woman did a great job however her attitude was horrible. This is by far the worst costumer service I have ever experienced, this is the first time I ever leave a negative review, I just felt like I had to let others know that I strongly advice you not to come here unless you’re willing to put up with her rude comments. She made me feel very unwelcome and scared to even go again for when I was supposed to for my dress. You may have a different experience as I know someone who’s gone and they liked it, it just depends.Services: Alterations

Score: 10/10 Buzzwords: Caring & Kind Staff, Organized, Quality Work Though I've been coming here for the past 3 or so years, this is the second time Angel's Cleaners has saved my behind. Irma assisted me early this Thursday morning to same-day my 2-piece suit & dress shirt for a spontaneous job interview the next day. She was very kind and understanding of my circumstances and for that, I highly appreciate her as well as everyone at Angel's Cleaners. Overall, I really enjoy how organized and skilled this dry cleaners is. They've been able to tackle some pretty tough assignments, making them appear sharp as a tack.

I am so glad I found Angel. She really is an Angel for altering my dress just in time for me to fly out to a wedding I was coming out in. She ensured me that the dress would fit perfectly, Angel also put her thought into the dress and added extra hooks to make sure my dress would fit comfortably. I would recommend anyone to trust that Angel will provide the best service ever. Thank you Angel for being my life saver !

I must admit I am a loyal customer of Angel's Cleaners. I have 4-5 cleaners close by and drive past them to drop off my clothes at Angel's. I tried all the closer cleaners when I first moved to the area and all failed. That's when Angel earned my business. They offer great customer service, excellent alterations and reliable dry cleaning service- take this advice from someone who's been going there for over 15 years.

Love the fact that this dry cleaner is on my way to work. I called before 9am and asked if a pair of pants can be pressed by 2pm so I can pick up during my lunch break and they made it happen! Appreciate the fact that they work around your schedule. Nice customer service.

I purchased 3 sets of IKEA curtains that were 98 inches in length, and I needed them to be reduced to 86 inches. Angel asked me if I was sure that I only needed 12 inches to be removed from each panel, and I said yes because I had done my measurements exact, and I told her I needed them to be 86 inches each. When I picked up the curtains and placed them on the curtain rods, they were not even. I went back and told Angel and she said there was nothing she could do, but charge me half price to re-do. And she said "that's why I asked you multiple times if that's what you wanted." She said that sometimes the manufacturers measurements are wrong, therefore stating that some panels could be 99 inches, some 100 inches, etc. She also made it a point to tell me that she's been in the business for 30+ years and that I was brand new to this, blaming me for the curtains coming out incorrectly. She finally told me that she would do the job without charging me, and told me "I never want to see you here in my business again." Angel made me sign a post-it agreeing to no re-do, but she refused to sign it. So I told her that I would wait for her to sign it since she wanted to make a formal arrangement, after 5 minutes she grabbed the post it and signed it. I asked if she would would write the pick up day & time on the post it and she said no, adding that she was very busy and couldn't guarantee a day & time. So I stood there and waited, and a young woman who was there (I'm guessing Angel's daughter) said "I'll write it on the stupid post it." I'm sad because I really like shopping in this Montebello shopping center and I hang out there all the time, but fortunately I have found another business close by.
