There are 22 shops in quiet Duncan Mills country mall and many of these are antique shops. I visited many this week and loved the collections, but was disappointed at some of the prices at many of these places, many well curated items, but I wasn't looking for a $400 plate. Twice as Nice lived up to their name, in that it felt like a place you could "find" a treasure, and walk away with what felt like a bargain. I bought a lovely and odd brass letter opener for $10, and a set of large antique transferware English teacups and a ginger jar for $60. Doable, a nice owner, and a very fun hunt here at Twice as Nice!

One of the nicest antique stores I have seen and been In, that's so tastefully display their merchandise. Not just stuff piled on stuff like most Antique stores. Very helpful but never any pressure to sell you something, very relaxed. They have really awesome different things to look at.

A great find in Duncan's Mill. I am really impressed with this wonderful vintage store. Can't wait to go back.

Stopped here with my husband to look for Inuit stone sculptures. Actually did locate one, though it didn't quite match my desired aesthetic. Husband was interested in their (disabled) machine gun from WWII. Very interesting conversation piece including tripod. Started some interesting discussions with the family later that afternoon. Other fun stuff for home decor. Would definitely stop here again next time I'm in the area. Some very attractive old pieces.

Cool shop. Cool people. Does your favorite antique store have a WW2 Italian Breda M37 heavy machine gun for sale? Didn’t think so.

The clerk was extremely rude to me when I was checking out and argued with me instead of nicely explaining to me the price. If you are going to work with the public maybe learn how to speak to a customer.. will never return.

Great selection of antiques. Got an old payphone and was tempted to buy several other items.

Bought a big elegant, antique display cabinet from here for a bargain! I don't have an eye for these antique items and classic stuff that they have here, but my sister and brother in law does so I brought them there one day outing and they went shopping. Disney monopoly in full package and tea cups were bought here. Admirable and surely nice for the antique fans! It's a worthy spot and exudes the town and county vibes.

Kind of a cool little antique store, but the dude behind the counter acted like we were bothering him for just being there. He made my wife bag her own item that she purchased. Kinda rude.

I bought a wheat thresher sledge/board a few years ago from Michael. He could not have been more helpful. I had my eye on it, and told him if it’s still there in a couple weeks then it’s mine. Sure enough he called me after a couple weeks and said patrons had shown interest in it but he knew I wanted it, so played hardball with them. Not only did he knock the price down a bit for me, but he delivered it to my apartment. He also called the former owner of the unique antique wooden structure, and gave me amazing detail of it’s history! This was the best, albeit only high end purchase for me. Micheal made the experience not only memorable, but enjoyable!
