Highland Dell Lodge
21050 River Blvd, Monte RioMonths earlier we booked 3 nights here in October. We enjoyed our time here, doing a few hikes near here and successfully viewed the comet from Jenner. The hotel offered a nice breakfast, included with the room too. We were traveling with another couple that wanted to visit many of the sights to there next lodging far north on hwy 1. They wanted another day for that. The hotel manager graciously agreed to modify our stay to 2 nights. We would certainly recommend this hotel.

Northwood Restaurant (Bistro)
19400 CA-116, Monte RioWent here Monday, 10/28 for dinner. My Wife had a cheeseburger that was cooked perfectly with a TON of fries. I had the salmon dinner that started with a generous salad with lots of extras. The main course was a generous portion of salmon, tasty country potatoes and assorted vegetables. It was excellent and I had enough left-overs for next day's lunch. Service was also timely and friendly.
