Very shady people working here lady with frizzy black hair and stained teeth tonight around 6pm.. we were offered a Rewards card to discount our purchase we declined which was fine as we dont shop here often after scanning items she again informed us about a "Rewards card" I asked if it was a credit line she informed us it was NOT a credit line so after many prompts of phone number, Email etc. She asked my partner for a SS # without thinking he added his last 4 she says great "you're approved" we ask again if it was a credit card??..she says "yes, it is" and that she told us that in the beginning of the transaction she did NOT she could see our frustration and said to call corporate and cancel the card but that the corporate office is on the east coast with a 3 hour time difference so another inconvenience. We were just trying to purchase clothes for our child I am very disappointedand will not be returning to this location in the future.

Things are overpriced when not on sale but cute clothing for toddler. Very humbly requesting the manager train their cashiers that they DO accept Samsung Pay. Every now and then I get someone trying to tell me I can't when I know I can.

I am a loyal Children's Place customer. That being said, I am HIGHLY disappointed in the service that I received by one of their associates today. Apparently, a few customers were standing in the wrong line. When I asked the associate, Jasmine, why she only asked us to move and not the customers in front of us, she responded, "I was busy. Plus, there's a big a** sign over there." Managers, please provide your associates customer service training. Employees like these make you lose business. My loyalty will now be to Old Navy.

Lots of cheap clothes but the store is unorganized, not many clothes for 0-6mo. And the people at the register are painfully slow.

The store is always in disarray and low on stock of shoe sizes and Jackie the manager is very rude doesn't have customer service skills or customer consumer etiquette she needs to be retrained Asap! I will not be shopping there.

I loved this store. I've been shopping at the Children's Place for 10 years already. I'm giving it 1 star just because I've been a customer for so long and never have I had any issues returning anything without a receipt till recently. I lost my Children Place card and I do not know if the girls are just lazy. For sure their system needs to be upgraded like the other stores. So if you don't have your receipt or credit card with you, you could only exchange for the same item. YOU (the customer) needs to call customer service because the girls cannot even do that. Customer service needs to look up the transaction for the return. You need to do everything on your own and return back to the store with the information and then they will do your return. It doesn't make sense. They either need to train their people to call for returns or upgrade their system so they could look it up some other way. Experiences like the one I just had makes me not wanting to go back.

First time being there and my experience was HORRIBLE. The store is very MESSY and the wait was ridiculous there was 2 cashiers and I was in line for 20-25 minutes. When it was finally my turn my cashier didn't even greet me she had an attitude the whole time.

I like to start off by saying I still work for The Children's Place for about three and a half years all together and I've always kept the shelves clean you always have to keep up with the t-shirts they're always going to get unfolded I believe this store and all other children's play stores they need at least three employees on hand at all time sometimes they only have to because there's no hours but there's no way to people could keep up a store like that they're little t-shirts little pants a little leggings everything gets messy quick and in this experience at the Montclair mall was very upset because I've been working for them for any retail store that I've ever worked. You got to give 110% and if you're going to work a register it seem like these kids came from kindergarten that are barely learning to count the employee was taking forever to count my change back she didn't know if I could give my email or my phone number which is unacceptable you can give both
