You have to add your own flavor to it. Compare to Los portales in Colton… this meat is not worth it. Rather drive to Colton for some flavorful ranchera. Give it two starts for appearance only.

Has a sign in and outside the store which says the meat is zahiba halal. But when I spoke to the meat clerk he said we do not sell any halal meat if you are looking for halal meat this is not the place.

I would not impress a little bit expensive on the meat not a large selection $1.35 for tomatoes and they're all bruised maybe they need a little work on that store

owners changed, now called Nabi's Carniceria Market.Low stock of old and wilting vegetables and fruit usually, Meats aren't the best but not the worst,the elder lady w black hair who works the register is incredibly slow so don't go in when it's empty thinking ur getting in and out.. Also have gone there on several occasions and not been able to find an employee to ring me up and had to just leave so there's that too. avoid

This place was my to go spot for carne asada and the marinated spicy chicken. Since the change of ownership and also the butcher, the quality and taste have changed. The meat and chicken have changed in taste due to the possible recipe changed. Need to find a different carneceria now , bummer !!

Love the changes the new owners have put in ! The meat looks fresh again and we have fresh veggies again. When I am grilling or just need some quick authentic ingredients this is my first stop in the area! Friendly and knowledgeable staff like Ximena make the experience of shopping somewhere local great keep up the new changes!

Nabi’s Carniceria is my favorite grocery store in Montclair. They have fresh produce, meat, and great products overall. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend checking this place out!
