Stress-Free has recently taken over this business and Joel is still a vital part of it as well during the transition. I brought my vehicle in due to my brakes not working and I was almost unable to stop while driving. My brake pedal was all the way down to the vehicle floor when using. Both Michael and Joel recognized that I had my brakes done in February and this should not be happening. They repaired the problem and there was no hesitation on their end in taking full responsibility and not charging me one penny for the complete repair.

This is the first time we went to Stress-Free Auto Care since the change of ownership. Customer service is excellent! Michael will tell you if the repair you have in mind is needed or not, saving you hundreds right there. They also keep you informed as to the progress of the repairs. We trusted Joel’s Automotive for decades and we will do the same with Stress-Free. We are very pleased with the service we received!

I just had my first experience with Stress Free / Joels Auto Repair in Montclair Calif. I can tell you; it will not be my last. In fact, I have plans to return for more work that I need done over the next few weeks. Mike Sanders provided me with nothing short of world class service. I was at the beginning of a 12-hour drive, with a flight to catch at the end, when my alternator and battery went out. It was early morning, and when I called Joel, he got me in quickly so I could get back on my way to Colorado. He was kind, professional, and HONEST! As a woman traveling alone, it’s good to know that I’m getting honest treatment and a good deal. If I lived in Montclair, Joel’s automotive would be my first choice. I can’t say enough good things about this establishment!

Bottom line is…. They treat you like their favorite family member. The staff is very knowledgeable and takes their time to make sure you know exactly what’s going on. No suprises at the end of your transaction.
