Wish I can give zero stars
Really unprofessional people working at this location. The lady in the front was very rude and when she was showing us the rental car she made a racist remark which I was totally shocked by I will not be going back here again.......everyone should stay away from hertz in Montclair

This place deserves 0 stars. I had issue when I picked up my rental. Manager had me call customer service. Manager left before my issue was resolved and he took the vehicle I was there to pick up for his personal use! The customer service rep on the phone was going to resolve my issue and give me the vehicle but couldn't anymore because the manager took it! Even the rep was in disbelief that the manager did that. He should be fired. i have filed a complaint with hertz directly.

Worse rental company I have ever dealt with in years. Informed that confirmation on reservation does not giants a rental. A car was available for am additional fee car was considered an upgrade. Ladies were not pleasant or provide customer service.

They called me the day of to inform me they didn't have a vehicle within the same class which I reserved online and did not want to waive the price difference of the next size up; they couldn't transfer my reservation or confirmation to another location or communicate with other locations to confirm what is within their possession. Terrible customer service. I assume they are only in business still due to the desperation/necessity of customers.

They have a liar for a manager. His name is German. That is bad for business. I wasn't given a comparable vehicle, and then he lied and said I didn't want to pay the price difference. I called and drove to different locations to locate a comparable vehicle. The help I received was subpar. Just bad for business; stay away.

I recently rented a Tesla Model 3 from Hertz for three months. It was an incredible experience from the rental process from start to finish. I was greeted by a young gentleman, German, who went above and beyond to ensure my first rental process was smooth and efficient. The Tesla Model 3 that I rented out was well-clean and fully charged. It showed that the company took their time in maintaining its vehicles.
I would 100% recommend this place because their top-notch customer service, well-maintained vehicles, and commitment providing a smooth rental process was amazing!

I had an amazing experience renting from this location. I had to put my car in the shop for repairs. The manager personally picked me up from the shop and assisted me with picking out a car. I even received a discounted upgrade on a 2023 Mustang . The person who assisted me on checkout was very friendly. The car was very clean. Overall a 10/10 experience

Smooth sailing. Join the Hertz program and you just walk in, take your keys and go. The return is just as easy. As an added bonus you don't have to even go to the counter at airports. Just go to the board, find your name and go pick out a car. Smooth sailing!
