The staff is inefficient. Prescriptions are dropped and not filled.
Staff is rude.
Don't bother calling, they ignore the phone. I called more than 15 times and no answer, then saw them ignore the phone in person.
Underwhelming customer service.

One of the worst parking lots of any Costco.
Otherwise, has most Costco offerings.

I was looking for tires for my car went to the Costco in Glendora, where the service man was very unkind to Costco Montclair and had the most amazing service. The gentleman at the register was very helpful and was very kind and caring to every person that walked in even some that came in with dumb questions he still Was very polite his name was Nate

I want to give a shout out to Gabriel at the customer service desk. I forgot my wallet at home today and he helped me get set up with the app using my membership number. He was very patient and helpful! The store was well stocked and lines were moving quickly.

I love Costco, but the customer service at this location is trash. I know they have a new CFO that is cracking down on things such as using the food court without a membership, but the way one particular customer service associate treated a 15+ year member is as inexcusable, and embarrassing. Imagine treating your customer service job like you worked for Homeland Security. That's how I was treated when I tried to replace a missing card. That particular associate asked me everything shy of my social security number. My mom's maiden name. Her address. My husband, who has a separate account, requested to put me on his account. I had to show proof that we even lived together, which meant showing my AAA payments on my phone. Super uncomfortable with that. Either this guy or the new CFO are both giagantic douchebags. Super shitty Costco experience.

They stop making food at 8 so if you come anytime after 8:30 ,even though they say they are open till 9,there were only cheese slices left and strawberry ice cream. We love Costco food court but they should stay open and have items on the menu until the time they say!

Costco must have hired the worst Engineers to come up with this parking lot I mean they must have literally on purpose requested for the worst possible way to design this thing.. by far the worst Costco to go to all around. I would drive to Victorville and go to that Costco then come to this one and deal with this mess of a parking lot literally needs to be demolished and turned into a Kohl's it'd be better off LOL

Costco always has what you need and there's always something new the people working the self serve aren't very friendly. It's probably easier to go get checked out by a person and going through the self-serve they're always rude not very helpful but I still love Costco.

Sometimes I come to this Costco in Montclair and I have noticed that the employees here seem so much nicer than other Costco. I feel like this location has a ton more snacks and other items that I don't usually see. Also, they have a lot of people who are giving free samples of many different items. Usually, I come here during the afternoon and even at that time there are a lot of people but one thing is that they have a lot of cashiers ringing up people. Also nice to walk around and just see what is on sale and what you might need for the house, office, or just for a kid's birthday! They even sell pet products and food for cats, dogs, and even bird food!

Went to Costco yesterday. Many cars, shoppers, and carts. It was busy. I returned the cart after shopping. While going out of the parking lot, I saw this tall man stopped a car and knocked on the window. He handed a phone to the driver. The driver went out of the car and handed it back to the tall man. I saw the phone looks familiar, and I checked mine. Omg! It was missing, I forgot it in the cart. Luckily, we are the next in line waiting at the stop sign. I am in total relief when he handed me the phone. I was driving and does not want to cause traffic. To the tall man, I would like to say thank you and to your team! You saved the day! Did not get a chance to get his name and I only say thank you many times. GOD BLESS YOUR HEART MR. TALL MAN!

I received a gift card for Christmas $250.00 -I went the first time and spent $155.00 -yesterday I went and of course and had $300.00 dollars worth of stuff unloaded waiting to be wrung up at the check out line. When I gave her my card the checker said very sternly you can only spend $93.71 the balance of your gift card. I replied that I would pay cash for the rest. Again very sternly she said no you can only spend the balance????? (San Bernardino Costco) Why the heck would I have shopped and placed everything on the check out line if I had known that----not to mention in a panic I had to choose what items would add up to $93.71??? I encourage Costco to revisit this policy-Our company bought $800.00 worth of Costco gift cards thinking that our employees would have the opportunity to shop at Costco-sadly now I realize that the $50.00 gift cards were a very very bad idea-they are all probably experiencing what I experienced today and they probably cant find something that is exactly $50.00 dollars -so like me they probably have leftover dollars and cents on a gift card that is unusable?? So I see how COSTCO makes extra money by having all these extra dollars and cents on unusable gift cards that people were suckered into buying. Good thing is I got to spend my other couple of hundred dollars at Sams club! Ha ha -So the message of this story is DO NOT BUY COSTCO GIFT CARDS FOR YOUR EMPLOYEES OR FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been shopping at this Costco for a long time now. The staff is friendly and helpful and the store is always fully stocked. However, there are some major concerns about the freshness and quality of their food. My husband came home from Costco yesterday and there were two major issues. The first is that he brought home the famous rotisserie chicken and it was raw on the inside - huge issue. The second is that he bought a two pack of Dave's bread and it was long expired - 12/8/23 to be exact. So the bread is almost one month past expiration. The last item that was of concern was my carton of brown eggs. There was no date on the carton, so I decided to check if the eggs were good. I placed an egg in a full glass of water and it began to float - which means the eggs are old. Because of these issues, mostly because of a raw rotisserie chicken, I'm thinking of switching to Sam's.

Associate by the name of Hillary called a manager to escort out me for using my home bound mothers membership card. I was told at the entrance I'd be fine. I explained that she's recovering from a number of surgery's and she can't be present but only got a blatantly disrespectful response in the form of "I don't care she should've just come". The manager who came to escort me was actually kind and explained the policy's for me even offered solutions but the pungent disrespect and disregard I got at the checkout was too much and I just wanted out.
