I came in looking to purchase a used car back in March. I had an idea of what kind of car I was looking for since I looked online before going in. I found the car it was a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta GLI and even had a test drive of it. I agreed that this was the car I wanted. The process and paperwork all took a total of 6 hours just for me to get the car off the lot. The guy who was helping us was walking back and forth, I want to say about 30 times, seeming like he didn’t know what he was doing. It was all so frustrating. I know the process of getting a car isn’t quick, but I felt like this was dragged out for too long. I was spoke to multiple people on what the status was of what other paper work they needed and if I was close to being done. No answers. Just more of the walking back and forth and multiple exchange of words with many of the employees there. All those guys seemed like they were lost and they couldn’t give me answers most of the time. It turns out they got the car from the auction and it didn’t have a registration yet so I had to wait for that. After of 6 long hours of waiting I was able to leave. I called the dealership constantly seeing what was the status of the registration. No answers. They probably got annoyed and knew who I was every time I called. I was driving the car for a while without registration and I had constant worry of getting a ticket. In July is when my car finally got registered and also I got my tags. My parents had gotten two cars at this company without any issue. Worst dealership ever. Don’t come to this dealership in Montclair. Not to mention this car came with problems that were not even mentioned. They were supposed to change the oil in the car which they didn’t do. They were supposed to detail my car which they did not do. They put new brake pads on old rusted motors which seems they were trying to hide the damage to the car. Such disappointment from this dealership. Never again will I go through them.
