Stacey has been my go-to for grooming and boarding my standard poodle for over two years now, and I can't imagine working with anyone else. Grooming a standard poodle takes a lot of experience and skill, and her expertise and attention to detail keep my pup looking stunning and stylish. Whenever I'm walking my dog, I'm constantly stopped and asked where I take her for her haircuts!Stacey also provides boarding services, and my dog LOVES playing in the fields of her ranch. Stacey's genuine care for my dog's well-being shines through and I have peace of mind knowing that my pup is well taken care of in a safe and loving environment.I highly recommend Stacey for exceptional care, grooming, and boarding for any dog owner looking for a one-stop-shop for their furry friend's needs. Her grooming waitlist speaks for itself!

I'm a nervous dog father but after meeting everyone at Happy Tails they made me and my dog Roscoe comfortable. Roscoe stayed for 4 days and had a great time. Came home with a bath and nails clipped with a cute bandana. No cages here. Roscoe slept in the house and during the day had a whole yard to run in and view of the ocean. Best place to leave your dog on the coast.

Can’t recommend Stacy and her doggy day care enough! We just picked up our dog after staying for 11 days and she was so happy. I could tell she had gotten a lot of exercise and was enjoying the beautiful grounds of the camp. Thank you Stacy! We’ll be back when we go out of town again

Nowhere better for your dog to play and, if you're lucky enough, get a trim! Stacey, Brin and the entire staff are simply amazing!

To the owner: Thanks for tempering your Yelp scream. We still have the original. See additional comments below. Dan and I feel the need to let others know about our pup's experiences at Happy Tails. So here we go. Grooming. Grooming went from great to horrible resulting in a vet trip to evaluate the physical and emotional trauma of our pup. Stacey butchered our pup and all we got was a whoops. She eagerly took our $100. We had to carry our pup out of there as she could not walk. No Apology. Our dog is still shaking and still cannot sit down due to the physical and emotional trauma incured by the "grooming". Day Care. We chose Stacey for so many reasons. I had spinal surgeries last year and thought that she could provide a safe place for our pup while I was recovering and learning how to walk again. We learned over time that there is no structure for play time with the dogs. They just sit there in a big cage. So yes. That was safe. In a big cage. Overnight. Our Pup had two overnights and both seemed fine. Conclusion: Happy Tails Dog Care and Grooming is a roll of the dice based on how the owner is feeling that day. And a very dangerous place because of that. We took our Pup to 4 groomers for their evaluation in addition to our vet. Her shaking was so extreme that they all asked the same thing - was she hurt? Our pup is very well known on the coast. Usually people ask us where she got groomed because it was so good. We sent a lot of business to the owner. Yes, after 22 times and 2 years one would think that it would be the same. Recent comments about our pup are completely different now: Here's a sample: "Isn't she supposed to be a schnauzer?" "Her beard is gone. What happened. Who did this?" "Why is she shaking so badly?" "She was butchered. This isn't the same dog. Are you sure that it was the same person that groomed her?" "What happened to her eyebrows? It looks like someone seared them with a fire." " 22 groomings? Of course you trusted her." "The owner should never have taken your money." "The owner should have said "I am sorry"". "It sounds like the owner took an issue she had with you out on your dog. Shame on someone like that. That's just scary." "If she was incapable of performing the proper service she should not have done it." "She should have called you immediately if the shear's slipped." "She used a 1 or a 2 on the shear setting. She should have used a 4 or 5." "What was she thinking shaving you dog in the middle of winter? Is she crazy?" "Don't ever take your pup back there." "She is supposed to be a business person. You filled out forms. She has your address." "We took our pup there and stopped 2 years ago because the owner wanted to cut and cut and cut every four weeks. She got weird and mad and we switched groomers. Best thing we ever did." "The owner gave a good cut but we couldn't stand her attitude." After our pick up of our pup last week we immediately acted and made better arrangements with a more structured, safer and consistent operation.

My 5 dogs go there from play dates to boarding to training and grooming for the past 7 years. Stace is excellent. She rescues dogs, adopts them, takes in dogs in need along with running an excellent business. She separates big dog play area from small dog play area. In addition, she has 3 separate play areas for all kinds of weather; indoors and outdoors. I highly recommend Happy Tails.

We super love this place, they really care about the dogs. We go here for day care and also occasional boarding and it gives me peace of mind knowing my dog is in this place when I'm absent.

After taking my sweet boy here I will never be taking him anywhere else! He has never looked more adorable and I feel so comfortable leaving him here knowing he is in great hands! Just know that you need to make an appointment weeks in advance which is only a good sign because it shows how many returning customers there are :)

We love Happy Tails. Stacey treats our dog like her own, made it so much easier for us to leave him while we went on vacation. I thought he would be upset after our being gone for a week. He was happy to see us when we first arrived to pick him up but then he ran back to look for his new friends. Best boarding care we could ask for. Plan to start taking him at least once a week for day care.

Instead of temperament testing dogs they just restrict breeds. I use Smilin Dogs in Belmont. Even though it is farther away, it's a great facility that isn't bigoted against any animal for the way they look.
