First time here, I'll never go back. My regular nail shop was closed due to vacation. I needed a fill and booked an appointment online, selected the service for acrylic fill w/gel. This is what I always get at my regular shop for about $35. So $40 wasn't a big difference. Nail tech spent 30mins on my nails, not as long as it normally takes, she was moving fast, and all I needed was a fill anyways. Mind you, she suggested I get a new set because I picked at the sides, you know, the sides they normally cutt off before a fill anyways??? I declined, I didn't need a new set. At the end I get a bill for $70??? I asked why, when online I booked it for $40. Girl says "no fills start at $50" she talks to the manager and they offer me $60/fill. I clearly show them online it said $40 not "starting at $40" girl said she had to fix and shape my nails and also the length!? My nails were already shaped, my nails were not broken, and I've never been charged extra for my length? Nor was I told that I was being charged anything extra for a simple fill and color other than what I booked online. I feel like they straight try to trick you, and pull one over on people. That's not even right! You want to charge extra than what's online, than warn a person first before you go and do their nails! Give me the curtesy of letting me know. Instead of surprising me with a bill almost double the online price.

My Wife and I have had a great experience here. Once we call to make an appointment they get us in super fast and are very kind and helpful. Jeanie and Thuy did a great job on our nails, we were so pleased with the outcome. They make sure to take their time and make sure we’re comfortable and satisfied.
We would for sure be going back!

Look at my cute nails!!! I got gel x with silver french tips. Urbane Nail Care is my go-to salon. It has a welcoming atmosphere and the staff is always professional, attentive, and accommodating. I highly recommend this nail salon for anyone looking for quality nail services.

First time today, so easy to book on line, and got exactly what I asked for. I requested no acetone removal of my hard gel overlay and even though that was their normal process the Owner/Manager agreed, no problem. I asked for tools/machine only removal, short short nails for 3 weeks of vacation, and I chose the checker design from a picture on their monitor. Large variety of colors and had the 2 OPI shades I wanted for Hawaii vacation, Aloha from OPI (Monique for hard gel overlay) and Cajun Shrimp (Lynn for gel pedi). Both super sweet, made sure everything was what I wanted. Parking easy, salon is spacious, and the hours are super flexible! I will definitely be back.

Love this place. Very accommodating with time, appointments are easy to make either by call or online. I always have Monique do my nails with hard Gel for nail strength and health. Gels are perfect length and thickness, and Monique is very accommodating as well with what I want with my nails. She is also a great person to speak with and genuinely kind and caring. Have recommended people I know irl as well as online. (Sorry for the blurry photos)

The facility is very dirty. Can visibly see mold near the water faucets on the pedicure chairs. There are bugs crawling around- the nail tech actually sprayed Deep Bug Spray before I sat down on the chair. The water in the vases are all green with bugs swimming in them. The place has gone downhill since last time I was in, 4 years ago. The nail tech Monicwas very friendly and kind. Did a great job on my pedicure.

I've been trying to look for a good nail salon for pedicures and found this place on Yelp. This is the second time I've gone to this place for a gel pedicure and I LOVEEEE. I went to Lynn both times and she's really attentive and so sweet. The prices are also perfect for my budget. Will be coming back!

When I called to check in on timing initially they did not answer, but to my pleasant surprise, they returned my call quickly to get me in today :) The manager and I were able to narrow down the best time for me to do a walk-in for gel X extension and gel pedicure. I then received a text from them to confirm my name because I forgot to give that on the phone, so I was very appreciative. They did their due diligence to make sure they had my information for my upcoming appointment. I thought that was very helpful! And it gave me peace of mind.
Upon arrival they had good parking out back. I entered from the back n was greeted at the front by the manager. I didn’t get her name but she was so lovely to chat with. She directed me to the correct color charts and asked ahead of time if I wanted a design. As someone who typically is so basic, I appreciated the extra thought that went into asking ahead of time. After a very brief wait, I saw Monique for my apres gel x nails.
Monique turned it out! She was communicative, professional, kind, and informative about my request and what to expect. She was patient when I scraped a nail on the uv light and fixed it quickly and flawlessly. I loved her execution of my inspo and will be back to see her for more fun work. She also gave me some sage advice about life which I also appreciated :)
For my gel pedi I saw Quinny. She also had great attention to detail and asked before we started what type of level of pedi I wanted. She was super quick and made my toes flawless. I really appreciate how quickly she did such a good job.
I was able to pay+tip on Zelle and they were super patient when I was checking out experiencing technical difficulties. The vibe was mellow and calm. The space was open, and airy. Definitely making the drive to come back!

My daughter and her friend had a nail emergency, trying to schedule "mermaid nails" for her 8th grade recognition ceremony. Urbane Nail Care was open late enough to fit the girls' hectic schedule, and was well-reviewed, so we gave them a call. The woman we spoke with worked with us to squeeze them in, with plenty of communication via chat as our plans evolved. I really appreciated this. But the best was yet to come. The technician who did my daughter's nails created ten unique works of art. They were beautiful, pearly white, and reminiscent of the inside of an oyster shell... I've attached pictures. My daughter was beside herself and beamed with pride as we left the salon. We'll definitely be returning to Urbane for her next big occasion.

Had a gel pedicure today with Jeannie and it was fabulous! She did a great job! I love Urbane. Everyone is always so nice. Establishment is always clean and they have so many colors to choose from. I highly recommend Urbane for your manicures and pedicures!

I’ve lived in Monrovia for two years and haven’t had any reason to find a new nail salon after trying Urbane first. The staff and management are very friendly without being intrusive, parking is abundant, and booking and paying couldn’t be easier. Great prices, great selection, even good for husbands.
