I’ve been searching for a new nail salon in the Monrovia area for the past few months and I’m so glad I walked in to Miracle Nails. The owners are so friendly, the staff is so accommodating and experienced which is apparent in their high quality of work. The salon itself is comfortable and tidy. I’m not someone who normally gets their nails done but have found myself coming back monthly to Miracle Nails!

No one there has the skill set to do silk wrap. They mistreated the only person that could do it, so she left.

My sister and I decided to try this place but we both heavily regret it. We both got gel x and now just 3 days later, already some nails are starting to fall off. My sister even had to remove a nail because it was digging into her skin and caused intense swelling. One of my nails isn't even properly on my nail. I noticed because it started to lift and saw that a part of my natural is showing. I didn't notice while getting them done but I am very disappointed at the nail tech doing my nails because there's no way she didn't notice and just painted over it.

1st of I want to say that the people here are very very nice and hard working. However the quality and cleanliness is poor. The man who did my manicure was not skilled at all. He also used water instead of an exfoliating scrub they offer for their deluxe manicure package. When I asked, he finally opened a new canister of exfoliating scrub. He was abrasive and in a rush. I really love the area and was hoping for a good experience while my family went to the movie Theater nearby. I was charged $68 for deluxe manicure package but they also took the liberty of adding $15 for tip without asking me. When I asked them about their dirty products they started move their carts to the back of their nail salons hoping I wouldn't start taking photos. They used Super dirty towels and nail dryers were disgusting. Sad because they were nice and I really really was hoping to find a regular place to have nails done on a regular basis! I would like to note, Cindy the owe was NOT present at the time. So her reply is not trustworthy. I think the best thing to do it's just learn from your mistakes and try to be better. I hope they clean up their place. Sorry but being in business for 19 years doesn't mean you are doing the best you can. You are in a high traffic area. Which just makes you lucky.

I have been coming to TLC Nails for a little over a year and it is so unfortunate that I am leaving this negative review because I genuinely love supporting Old Town Monrovia businesses but this week was my last straw with them. I have been incredibly graceful with colors I pick not matching, them rushing through my nails just to get to another client; making my young daughters feel like they weren't important because they are only 5 and 8 even though we were paying for service for them. Or, not giving a discount or barely a sorry when things don't turn out right because they are rushing. Yet I continued to be understanding because no business is perfect. BUT, lying to your regular customers is not okay. A few months ago I went to pay and the owner told me the credit card machine wasn't working and they were only taking cash. When I told her I had cash for tip but would come back when it was working because I wasn't going to lose CC points on $200 spend. All of a sudden she tells "we'll let me see if it working now" and it worked just fine. A month later she must of forgot she told me that lie a month ago and reminded her and she just said oh sorry and ran my card. This week I had an appointment and told her what I wanted when I scheduled it. Upon arrival as they are beginning my services she tells me they have no more ombré powder and told me to just pick out a color. I nicely told her that wasn't what I wanted and to just do a manicure and I would go somewhere else for the ombré. Of course you can guess what happened. All of a sudden " oh yes we still have a little to do your nails". The darn thing was almost full. So disrespectful. Of course I was upset and ruined my experience. Before I left I nicely gave her my feedback and let her know I would never come back and why. Let her know it was absolutely unacceptable to lie to your clients so you can rush through to the next one. I gave 2 stars because I feel bad because I really like the ladies but this kind of service is not okay especially for how expensive it is. The owner sets the culture for a business and want nothing to do one that lacks integrity and honest service.

The guests are always happy and friendly. All the nail techs are professional. Everyone is welcomed by name. Overall I am consistently satisfied.

Came to check this place out since the place i go to was busy and to my surprise I loved how my nails came out... service was super friendly and the girl that did my nail did it to my liking... totally recommend this place and I will be coming back.... and it's affordable too.
