**USED CAR BUYER BEWARE UPDATE** Sierra’s offer to address my concerns has proven to be as disingenuous as the ‘Best Price’ on their website. Despite reaching out to them three times, I have received no response. My concerns are specific and would have preferred to discuss vs. posting here--- the expensive “Theft Code” added dealer option (window etching) appears to have not been performed, and I suspect the “Finishing Touch” added dealer option (paint protection) was also not provided. Both options were unnecessary, yet I was required to pay for them without receiving the services. Based on my experience, Sierra Subaru’s business practices are misleading and untrustworthy.
USED CAR BUYER BEWARE. "Best Price" on Sierra's website is NOT the price of the vehicle. After you arrive you will learn of expensive "dealer options" that have supposedly already been added to the vehicle (and not disclosed on website) resulting in a higher actual price. They will point to the fine print of asterisks and disclaimers to skirt around legal advertising requirements to justify the price change, but it's still "bait and switch" scheme. Just can't believe dealerships still resort shady pricing practices. So as not to be entirely negative about the experience, salesperson was very friendly and knowledgeable.

I brought the car in to fix a flat and Sierra Subaru recommended four additional services. The first three felt necessary, the last one was not. They said to replace the engine air filter, cabin filter, and flush out the brake line. Those were needed. However, they also suggested windshield wipers which didn't make sense. I had already replaced them at that same dealer earlier in the year. They were functioning well. Did they really check the wipers? Don't know. Other than that, the service was good and reasonable.

These guys have the entire process and their act together!
I simply brought in an email they sent me, with a price quote, on a specific vehicle, that I had inquired about online from their website.
I sat down with Juan Guerra, a sales representative.
He then established the out the door sale price of the vehicle including the government required taxes and fees.
Next, I sat down with the Financial Manager Alex Hernandez. He ran a credit check on me establishing my FICA score.
I then filled out and signed a gazillion documents, which is completely normal.
I cut them a down payment check.
Financed the balance.
Behind the scene, the vehicle was ready, sitting there, spit shined and polished ready to go.
Done!
I drove the vehicle home.
To purchase a vehicle, it certainly does not get any better than this.
At Sierra Subaru of Monrovia, you will be treated with respect and professionalism.
At this Monrovia dealership, you can purchase the vehicle of your choosing, in a haggle free, honorable environment; there is no pressure and certainly no unsolicited dealer addon nonsense.
What a concept, right?

One star, will not sell a vehicle for advertised price, added $5,000 of useless add-ons, will not remove them even though the car had none installed (make that make sense) Steer Clear.
Edited 8.23.24 Emailed both the GM and sales manger, no replies after 48 hours. They are truly running a bait and switch game. Sad.

I've had 2 great car buying experiences with Sierra Subaru. Both times, my sales person was Jordan and he always goes above and beyond to make sure your car buying experience is a positive one. He is friendly and knowledgeable and always makes sure you're comfortable during the transaction. Highly recommended if you're in the market for a Subaru.

Needed to find out more about lease end options, ended up leaving with a new Forester, and Shanye Daniels made that process super easy, and stress free. She helped me find the perfect vehicle, highly recommended to ask for Shanye if youre in the market for a new Subaru. Also, when the time came for finance, Jeff was also really helpful getting all that paperwork explained and signed.

Joe West, the service director, helped to make sure the repair on my car was moving in a timely manner after some hiccups. When my car was brought in for service, and they realized thy would need to hear from Subaru of America the service department provided me with a loaner car while my car was in the shop.
It was difficult to reach my service agent at first, and some communication broke down, but then Joe West helped to move things along and reached out to me to check on how my car was running.

Great people so kind. I've been going through a lot with the car I purchased since day one but they have been there for me. They said they wouldn't leave me hanging and they haven't. I'm currently going through chemo and they have been heaven sent. God bless them.. Thank you sir for your response.. it's actually back in your shop now but I've spoken to someone and they are finally trying to put me in a different vehicle thank God ?. But I haven't heard anything in a few days.. Well update. Well I guess I was wrong now they are trying to turn there back on me and stick me with a car that broke down literally right after I signed the paperwork didn't even make it 2 exits away..I was told they wouldn't screw me over. Wow I can't believe this.
