Be aware of Sally’s they charge me $34.89 without even shopping today 5/19/23 post mark for 5/22/23 I never had a problem all this years until now not good.

I had a wonderful experience in the store today, Sylvia was extremely knowledgeable, she took her time with me and helped me to find the perfect hair product that will tone my new hair color PERFECTLY!! As I entered the store, I overheard her taking her time and explaining the products and the instructions with another customer. She is very friendly and made me feel acknowledged. I had a wonderful experience as a customer here today at Sally beauty supply, I recommend anyone come to the store in Monrovia!! They know how to treat you. I will be back

Recently I needed to buy a pack of nails that I typically would order online at a much better price, but I was in a crunch for time and stopped at Sally's. I bought a pack of 100 nails on 7/13 and within 3 days two of them had begun to crack down the middle. I went to return the nails 7/18 because they have a 60 day return or exchange policy. I thought it would be relatively simple since I had only used 10% of the product. Who I believe to be the manager was extremely rude and told me I had used too many of the nails and "common sense" was that if anybody could make a return after using this much product there would be no business. She continued to go back and forth with my mother and I about how I could've only used 2 nails and then she could accept the return. My mother continued to tell her that was ridiculous being that I have 10 fingers and she, clearly irritated, allowed us to at least exchange the products. While me and my mom were walking through the store I could see her watching us multiple times and whispering things to another employee. When we did check out, she persisted with a bad attitude until we left. Since there's never any product in this shop anyway, I will not be returning.

I just stopped in for a quick purchase and had to wait for the incompetent clerk to ring up purchases. Training is needed.

If you want to return your item DO NOT go to this location. The manager doesn't know about her own company's return policy and snaps at customers. I came here for some nail products last week and I was not satisfied with them. I went in today to return them and told the associate that I used the products one time. On the back of the receipt, they have a "love it or return it" policy. The manager told me it was clear that it was used and she refused to give me a return. She instead told me she would let me exchange it for something else as if she was doing me a favor. Instead, I took the item back and went online to confirm their return policy. I reached out to customer service about the situation and they got back to me saying I could return the item-- even if it was empty. I called the store back to talk to the manager about their return policy, and she snapped at me with the nastiest attitude. She told me my product was "almost gone" even though I used it once. I told her about what customer service told me, and she told me to have customer service contact them about the issue. She said "imagine if we took back used items. We wouldn't even have a business!!" And proceeded to talk over me for the entirety of the phone call. I called the temple city location and they said they took returns with no issue. I got my money back but it took three phone calls, emails to customer support, and a 20 minute drive over a simple return.

On 09/26/21, I went into Sally Beauty to purchase a blow dryer with a rotating brush. As soon as I walked in, I was told to put my mask on (it was on my chin). I apologized and put it immediately on properly over my mouth and nose. Not even 3 feet from me is a woman and young girl around 11 years (possibly mother and daughter) shopping and talking to an employee without masks. They did not even have a facial mask around their ears or necks. No mask in sight for them. I did not make a scene in the store so I called and asked for the manager. I asked why was I asked to put a mask on and while others were not. She claimed that no customers were in the store without a mask. I told that she needs to check her security surveillance video because this customer was talking to an employee and paid for her purchase all without a mask. I suggested that she needs to expect and request that all customers follow the Mask requirement and not to pick and choose. I went to Pasadena to purchase my blow dryer.

I like Sally's and have normally been okay with the services received. I wanted to color my hair so I actually looked up this store since it was close to my home. It was my first and last time visiting it. I found what I needed and left it in my cart online, for pick up but I didn't pay. I was still looking for more items but as I found my product inside the store, I noticed the prices were different. That being the case, I asked the clerk about the price difference and she stated that it could've been for the delivery. But I explained that I went to their site and it was for pickup and her prices in the store was actually more than what was quoted online. Instead of even offering to honor the online price she tells me about buying more items that are on sale. I would of thought about that had you not ignored the fact of the prices differences. It was not a lot but it was the principal. What you explained made no sense. Other than that, the store had what I needed and I was too tired to go anywhere else or I would have.

Great place to go with exceptional customer service. They recently reorganized the store, but everyone was really helpful and I was able tonfind everything I needed. Staff is always happy to recommend good products too.

It's COVID time, so of course you know I had to do, I had to bleach my hair and give it super funky colors that my work will no approve of. It's been a longgg a** while since I colored my own hair, cuz you know, Adulting means paying a professional to do your hair so you don't make a mess at home. But since salons are closed, I am left to my own devices, a lot of free time, my artsy side is coming back out, I figured YOLO. And come on, its all over social media, everyone is doing it, and social media is to influence right? So it got me good. Once I arrived, I was greeted by a very nice sales associate, I went directly to the hair section, to my surprise, there was a lot of stuff still available, I picked up bleach, toner, bowl, brushes and the ideal colors I would like to do. I went for PINK and light purple/lavender because which Chinese girl/woman wouldn't want pink and purple hair. I spent about $35, no regrets I went home and did my hair.
