I sent all of my 3 daughters here. They still talk about how great their experiences here. Two of them were very picky eaters and now they eat everything because of the exposures to multiple international cuisines cooked on site. They excelled academically now due to the lessons they learned here. Love the programs, love the teachers. Thank you for making their early education memories fun and meaningful.

Unfriendly inattentive. Poor communication and service from the management here. Will not bring my child back.

I sent my child to this preschool for three weeks, but they were only able to attend for one week due to being sick. The teacher did not seem to be attentive to the students, and her attitude was very poor. My child was terrified of going to school. We decided to withdraw our child from the program, but they blamed us for the problem. I would not recommend this preschool to anyone

Management has terrible communication skills. I talked to Ms. Suzy on the phone. Emailed her and had a back and forth exchange on email with her confirming she can take our 4 year old in April. And then during Virtual tour, she said she can't keep the spot open for my son until April. Wasted a lot of my time.

I had two kids attend Montessori Academy of Arcadia between Jan 2020 - Aug 2022. My son started in their infant room at 6mos and my daughter started when she was 4. I cannot say enough great things about this team. They took such great care of my kids and really became our second family. My kids looked forward to arriving at school every day and were always in a good mood when I picked them up. I was so impressed with all the precautions they took during the pandemic to ensure my kids stayed safe. My kids loved their teachers there and we only left after we moved to a different city when my daughter transitioned to Elementary School. She loves her new school but even after 4mos she still asks if she can go back and visit Ms. Irma because she misses her so much! My daughter is ranked at the top of her class because she is so advanced thanks to the focus on education she received at Montessori. She was doing addition, subtraction, reading, and so much more when she started elementary. This school just gets it right. In the summer they have water play days which my daughter loved and even field trips to cool places like Aquarium of the Pacific and LA Zoo. The director Ms. Emilene was always available for us and you could tell she really cared about the kids and took pride in her school. I was very impressed with the events they had once COVID restrictions started easing up especially their well done graduation ceremony. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a place that will provide exceptional care with a high focus on education. We miss our Academy of Arcadia family!

My kid started here at 14 months, and now they are in the pre-primary class. We have never stepped foot inside because of the pandemic, and still haven't. The teachers work hard and have a cheerful caring attitude which I appreciate. The reason for the 3 stars is because when my kid moved from infant to pre-primary, the children are all required to eat the same meal plan and not allowed to bring any food from home. To give you an idea of the food at this school: Cheezits, chex mix, crackers, apple, chicken alfredo, turkey sandwich, chinese food, pizza etc. Breakfast (which my kid doesn't partake, is some cereal, oatmeal, fruit, etc.)To me, the food there is leaning on mostly unhealthy and my kid rarely touches the lunch and fills up on snacks. Many of the kids don't eat well. The admin literally said the children "eventually eat", and gives me an impression that kids will either go hungry enough or hold out until they go home. For kids there from 7-6, that's just awful. It's a compromise we have had to make since parents gotta work!In terms of arts and crafts, the materials are pretty cheap (how many paper plate and styrofoam cup crafts can be made?). The other Montessori materials used for learning seem of good quality. Outside playground areas looks clean and safe. Summer activities also include watching movies (Disney films aren't educational and lengthy screentime is questionable). At a certain point, a teacher had been showing the infants a movie on their phone to "keep them calm". In addition to the high quality education, YouTube videos count as Spanish and Chinese lessons. My kid literally got a pixelated letter D printout to color.I know daycares are pushed to capacity and teachers are doing what they can. Parents need a place that is open M-F, early to late hours, and fits their budget, and not worrying about food sure helps! So my impression is this place is good and safe for children, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Our daughter changed several other schools before and we can really feel the difference this school made. Our daughter will never forget her teachers and the warm atmosphere here for sure; our family really appreciates the teamwork of the school staff and all they ought our daughter. After all a good school is not a good walls it is good hardworking teachers, thank you all!

Thanks to covid, I've never stepped foot inside the building. Sure we did the virtual tour but you can only see so much virtually. But I bit the bullet and still started sending my daughter here mainly because they had availability when I really needed her to start and they provide meals/snacks. I'm sorry but I simply don't have the time or energy to figure all that out myself. Decent location (although parking can get a little hairy at times), great hours, customized teaching for your child, but most importantly, my daughter loves it there. She barely even says goodbye to me in the morning when I drop her off since she is always excited to be there. Ms Emilene usually has to remind my daughter to say goodbye to me!Anyway, my daughter will be moving on to kindergarten soon but i got my second kid onto the wait list at Montessori so we will be back!

Both my kids attended Montessori and I have nothing but great things to say about it. The teachers are wonderful, the hours are great, and Mrs. Emilene is always there to answer any of your questions when needed. They have a wonderful protocol to put in place for Covid and are taking the pandemic seriously. I couldn't be happier! Both my kids love waking up and looking forward to attend school!

Good luck if you have siblings. When my 3 year old was potty trained and moved up a class his space was given to another child instead of my 2 year old. He was on the waitlist for 4 months before I gave up and withdrew my family.Great teachers and facilities but they will not go out of their way to help your family. Good luck

My Granddaughter has been going to this school and has learned so much. It is newly remodeled and kept very clean. I highly recommend it to anyone searching for a preschool. Great staff and great teachers. Love it.
