I would like to share our story. My 93 year old father was diagnosed with dementia about three years ago. He has been living no his own for many years and my brother and I feel that keeping him independent will keep him with us longer. Almost two years ago after trying to manage and care for him on our own, we decided to contact Home Instead for help. We started with a wonderful caregiver named Kathy and she was able to help us get my dad on some good routines as well as getting a handle on some of the chaos in his life associated with dementia. Unfortunately, Kathy had to leave to take a school aid position. So Anthony my dad's Home Instead supervisor was able to quickly without too much disruption in my dads routine set up a new caregiver and at the same time we added more time and days to his scheduled. My dad was then set up with Carmela who takes care of my dad Monday, Wednesday and Friday and Roxanne who has Saturdays. The remaining days Dad is with us or other family and church members. Unfortunately Roxanne had to leave and we now have Lisa who already knows my dad from assisting with other shifts.
I know there have been several changes with personal and schedules but Carmela, Roxanne and Lisa have been able to step in start and gain my dads attention and trust quickly. They share information and any problems they might have with each other and with my brother and I, this gives us peace of mind and the confidence that he is safe and secure in his own home. I personally would like to thank the entire team at Home Instead in Monrovia for there assistance, communication and quick response to our needs.

I have been using Home Instead for about 4 months and I find the Caregivers to be very helpful and attentive. I have not had any issues with any of them. I started out with 24 hours of care and have since cut back to fewer hours with no problems. I strongly recommend the Home Instead services for those who need some kind of in home care.

Home Instead of Monrovia came through when I was looking for a care companion for my elderly mother. The Client Care Coordinator, Anthony Hsu, went above and beyond to find a companion who fit all of my mother's needs. Anthony was responsive, caring, and truly looked out for my mother's welfare. I highly recommend Home Instead of Monrovia to help with providing senior care services. Thank you Anthony.

Home Instead of Monrovia provided immediate help with my mother-in-law (same day as request). We mostly required 24/7 support, and that is what was provided by their very capable schedulers. All of the caregivers were capable and kind. Nicole, the case manager, was very responsive to any request made. When my mother-in-law contracted COVID, the needed precautions were made seamlessly. After she transitioned to home hospice care, everything was well coordinated between Home Instead and the hospice care provider. We couldn’t be more satisfied with the caregiving support provided by Home Instead.

HomeInstead had come through for our family in times of need (twice!) with short notice! Anthony has been a exceptionally responsive case manager, not to mention kind and a pleasure to work with. Both Autumn and Lilah cared for our 85 year old father and treated him with such patience and dignity, we knew he was in good hands. HomeInstead has been a lifesaver and we can't thank them enough!

The experience has been great and extremely helpful to my elderly parents. Lilah Castaneda has been super at everything, especially cooking and preparing fantastic meals, and organizing medications with detailed schedules.

I have been using Home Instead for my 102 year old mother for over a year. My mother has dementia but lives in her house. Her two caregivers, Elyessa and Marisela are very attentive to my mother and respond well to her needs. I get updates and pictures from them when people visit or if their are any issues. The care has been excellent and I frequently talk to her case manager. I would recommend you do your homework when looking for a caregiver and choose Home Instead.

We had Home Instead step in and help when my father needed 24 hour care. They were wonderful. Everyone was caring, conscientious and professional. They were all very patient with my dad and we always knew what was going on. I would totally recommend them!

I just received a lovely interview with Home Instead located in Monrovia. I am a permanently disabled person and it is becoming more and more difficult to do normal chores around the house. I called their offices in the morning and they were able to send someone to meet me the same day and assess my needs. The lady was very professional and patient with me. I am looking forward to utilizing their services.

We use Home Instead for my mother who has Alzheimer's with severe cognitive impairment. We have a regularly assigned caregiver, who is very trustworthy and we feel my mom is in good hands. The service has been very helpful, provides backup caregivers when needed and can even add in an extra day with advanced notice. They are easy to communicate with via phone or email. Everyone we've interacted with is safe, friendly and knowledgeable whether in person or on the phone. Overall, high quality service and we feel mom is safe which is very important to us.
