Nothing is fresh. Meat smells like dead animals. They have dead fish rotting in the tank. Vegetables is probably below average. Don’t waste your time.

I went there at around 4 o'clock this afternoon and happened to see nougat next to the cashier. I asked the cashier to get a small bag to put the candies in. But the cashier's attitude was very bad. He said that if he wanted a small bag, he could go inside and get it. I was really speechless. , I have been shopping at Lucky Lai for six years and today I encountered this unqualified cashier.

I bought a watermelon before yesterday and it was totally rotten inside.I came back today and their front desks with no problems to help me exchange or return after they saw photos.It is really good customer service, I count as store credit and used it in store.If they can improve the quality and avoid making customers back and forth waste time, I will update the last star.Thank you.

Sometimes meat and seafood are not fresh. There are 2 times the fish brought had very bad odor. I had to dump them. Waste time and money. Ever since I never buy fish from them.

bought 3 live crabs 12/21/23 at about 230pm, when I got home opened the bag, one of the crabs was not only dead but rotten, it smelled so bad,my husband and I was so furious, this was not right so I went back to the store in Duarte Road Arcadia from my home in Azusa which is 15 minutes drive to complain, they refunded my money back. This should not happen to do this to anyone. Dishonest practices should should not be tolerate. I complained in the front desk, as if it was just nothing at all.

Unbelievable, that a supermarket in Monrovia would have nobody that speaks English. Impossible to find anything or ask questions.

This is a market with very high prices but very low products. The cashier staff is very bad, they don't help you with anything other than checking the price and taking money. There are a lot of dried foods that are expired.

This is a racist market. Expect to be questioned on your way out if you are not Chinese. I am a Latino senior, disabled, clean, educated, yet I was stopped on my way out of the market by a big obnoxious Asian security guard. I was made to open my bag and show my receipt and prove that I paid. He said he has to stop people that don't pay, though I had just paid at a nearby register. The security guard was abusive, rude, and disrespectful. He spoke to me like I was a thief. I shop here because it is a block from where I live. I have never been treated like this in a store. The guard was threatening and demanding. I became flustered and confused and I had difficulty finding my receipt for an $8 purchase. Really? They're so greedy and racist. The guard did not make any of the Chinese customers stop and prove their payment. No one from the store came to help me or see what was the problem. I was fearful that the big, fat guard would attack me or hurt me. I finally found my receipt in my pocket. He was so loud and threatening. He embarrassed me in front of all the other customers. Do not shop here if you are not Chinese. They don't care. I've been a good customer over the years and this is how they treated me. Please boycott this market. Let them discover that Chinese steal, too. I am so upset and afraid.

This is for management. I shop here often, and during my last visit to purchase seafood, the gentleman at the fish department kept insisting that I cross and walk into the alley to let him know which fish I want. I told him any fish is fine with me, because I don't want to risk walking over the puddle of water and wet floor and taking the risk of slipping and falling. He pointed to the wet floor and said the puddle is not too bad and insist and I walk into the employee working area. I had to report this because I am very uncomfortable with this man's gesture and rudeness. I would hold the market management and owner accountable for all liability. I refused to walk across and left.
