DO NOT STAY HERE. I should have read the reviews before staying here. The freeway is so loud that I couldn't sleep AT ALL. At first I thought the window was open...but no, the clanking semi-trucks and revving motorcycles were my reality. I had been at a local sporting event and didn't get into the room until after 1am so moving rooms wasn't really an option for me at that time. Then I was woken up at 7:30am (on a Saturday) by drilling...like a handheld drill doing some type of construction...when i went to the front desk to let them know about the noise and drill they told me there was no drill (like I was crazy) and i should have moved rooms in the middle of the night if the freeway bothered me. Basically, I got the impression that they had heard it all before and simply don't give a shit that their customers are miserable. They offered me a water bottle and sent me on my way. Stay at the Hilton Doubletree that is on the other side of the freeway. No road noise and way better rooms. Marriott needs to dump this hotel. It is hurting their brand.

I organized a Room Block at this hotel for my wedding earlier this October. The customer service was great from start to finish. My bridal party and family also had nothing but nice things to say. The room was clean and comfortable. There was construction going on in the lobby but it was not disruptive to us. Yes, there was freeway noise in the room, but it was not enough to bother us overnight. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others.

Not a bad hotel! They are undergoing renovations but it didn’t disrupt my stay. Free parking and nice staff, rooms were ok. Biggest complaint is the highway noise is super loud on one side of the building, it actually kept me awake/woke me up once I did fall asleep. Heavy sleepers will probably be fine.

They are renovating and there is dust in several places. The loud noise of the drilling machines stars at 8 am. The main entrance is not accessible and the elevators are also with dust. This hotel should put a warning on the website and also should have reduced rates for the inconvenience of the construction.

Awful experience. Dust and debris from construction. Dangerous and loud noises. They did not tell me there would be construction otherwise I would have booked elsewhere. Very disruptive to my work. Waited at front desk for 15 minutes with no staff available. Had to knock on staff door to get checked in. Drilling and jackhammering early in the morning and water turned off without notice. Poorly planned by management. Why would you have guest during construction?

Well they are getting renovated, didn't affect us at all didn't hear anything! But we did have to switch rooms in the middle of the stay...but they made that effortless. The front desk guy Victor was super! went and checked on the switch himself. They were super friendly, helpful location was great, they Have a morning breakfast you can buy,Starbucks ,a bar for at night. swimming pool and hot tub to relax after a grouling day of touring! Just hop on and off the highway super easy restaurants on the other side of the highway and down the street. We went from an old room to a new room The new rooms are very nice all new carpeting lamps get that new carpeting smell in the hall..
Rooms: Just getting updated I took pics of the renovation

A truly miserable experience. Two mornings (Friday and Saturday) in a row we were awakened at 7am by the sound of jackhammers and drills from construction being performed on the floor above. We are in town for a wedding and, while the hotel was otherwise very nice, were NOT warned in advance that there would be 9 scheduled hours per day of incessant racket and disturbance.
I went down at some point on the first day to ask if we could have our room switched, and the front desk was vacant. The next morning I angrily called (twice! nobody picked up the first time) at 7am when the construction began, and while I admit I could have been nicer about it, I was dismissed and LIED to by the staff members who claimed that there were notices posted in the elevators regarding the construction and that I should have been prepared for it.
Well friends, fear not, because I took thorough videos of the inside of the elevators and- wouldn’t you know it- there were no notices posted. Not even a rip or textural inconsistency in the paper covering the walls (perhaps they thought that was enough of a sign?) indicating that one was posted and then removed. So for those playing along at home, we have:
-No advanced notice of construction upon booking
-No notice of construction upon checking in
-No posted notice of construction at any point before having to deal with said construction as it was happening.
-A pool full of diarrhea
Because you know something happened to make them have to put up the sign. Don’t stay here. You have options.

Courtyard Los Angeles Pasadena/Monrovia has a great location with plenty of restaurants nearby. The room wasn't super clean, and the facilities felt a bit outdated. Unfortunately, the swimming pool was under maintenance during my stay, so we couldn't use it. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Hotel location is superb. A few minutes walk from Old Town and a few mall shops. Staff is really friendly. Excellent balcony space and view.

Came for a vacation and used my Marriott points.
EXTREMELY disappointed to find the pool was closed on a Saturday afternoon, despite being open the day before, due to the construction going on. It was one of the amenities I had planned to use. A/C in was mediocre, hallways smell like bodily fluids, hot/cold showers. You’re probably better off staying at one of the other Marriott or Hilton locations in the area.
