The coaches don't seem like they want to be there. While warming up there are talking to each other instead of caring if the students are doing the exercise correctly. And if the students aren't doing the exercise correctly they don't do anything about it, or I did see once they just voiced the correction (no hands to actually show the correct way ). This could be dangerous. Ex: coming out of a bridge with tucked chin. Few students were doing it incorrectly , which is why the correction was voiced, but because the students didn't understand, they kept not tucking their chin. While my child's group was on the trampoline doing their exercises, her coach was in a blank stare starting somewhere else besides the kids. Saying good job and staring else were . The exercises themselves were amazing and will create great athletes, but I wish the coaches were more attentive to the students and truly cared about their success.

The people Coach E hires to work at this location are top notch and are all about the kids that come here. My son has gained such confidence coming here and is not afraid to try new things. I love this place and coach Emma is the absolute best. As long as my son wants to do gymnastics we will only come here. Thank you for creating such a warm and inclusive environment.

My 7 year old daughter loves coming for classes here. She's been attending about a year and has learned a lot of great skills. The staff are all really friendly and great with the kids. My daughter has mainly worked with Coach Estevan, who is the Director there. He always has a lot of energy and enthusiasm, and I've seen him handle difficult situations well. My daughter has also attended "Champ Camp" several times and that has been a great experience for her. Highly recommend.

The front desk staff are very helpful. Classes are easy to schedule and this site offers incredible flexibility for busy families, esp. With summer travel. The teachers keep the class at a good pace for younger students. It is enjoyable with all the different activities. ***I would like to see more modeling by the teachers instead of just verbal instructions. Modeling once or better twice, would result in better understanding.*** I am very concerned that without the students seeing a demonstration and grasping proper form before attempting, the chance for injury is much higher.

My daughter has been attending gymnastics class for a couple of months and loves it. I really like that it is pay as you go and don't have to commit with a monthly plan. We often take vacation here and there and it's nice that I don't need to keep up with the make up class. The staff is really nice and there is plenty of space with chairs and tables. Except when some people bring their whole posse, then there won't be enough chairs or no social distancing. There's plenty of parking and it is located by downtown Monrovia.

I have been bringing my 3 kids for six and a half years. They have enjoyed their time learning gymnastics. With all of my kids, we have taken almost every range of age class and focus class. All the coaches are awesome and patient. They handle discipline problems appropriately and make sure everyone is safe. They also give parents verbal feedback about what they will be working on with your kids. It maintains a family feel when you walk in. They make sure to greet every child and get to know them.

Do yourself a favor and never come here. Management made my wife feel so disrespected she cried. Lot of accusations most likely because the color of her beautiful skin. There was no apology given from management after another customer of theirs screamed at her.

I really wanted to like this place, as I've heard good things about it. That being said, I think it really is the child's coach that makes a difference. I'm not going to name the coach, because I want to be polite and not call her out, but if you are reading this, be aware. My daughter is your typical three year-old; bouncy, silly, happy, and -- like other tots her age -- can get easily distracted. The coach she was assigned to was NOT up to speed on how to teach 3 year-olds. First of all, they have the 3 year-olds in the same class as the 4 year-olds. Anyone in early childhood education knows that there is a huge difference between a young 3 year-old and a 4 1/2 -almost 5 year-old child. Cognitively, they are at different levels, and therefore process information differently. The coach who taught my daughter's class had no idea how to teach this age group. Because, let's face it, this is a TODDLER class. My daughter was reprimanded and placed on 5- minute time-outs SEVERAL times during one class because "she wasn't following directions." Yes, I totally agree that consequences are necessary when the child is running out of their assigned apparatus zone -- for safety's sake -- but to give a 3 year-old that many time-outs during the span of 1 hour is ridiculously harsh. Also, if you're going to give that young of a kid a time-out, send them back to sit with their parent/caregiver. Then give them one more chance ... then if they continue doing something potentially unsafe, have them leave class early with the parent. Nip it in the bud. And no, my kid does not have ADHD. I'm a psychologist, trust me, I'd notice it. Another thing. If you're going to teach 3 and 4 year-olds, you need to be PLAYFUL AND FUN. Even silly. Because that's how you keep them engaged. This coach was running this class as if the kids were 14 years old. No wonder why my kid was leaving her assigned zone, she was probably bored. One last thing. A one-hour class for toddlers is too long. No other class that I take my 3 year-old to (and she takes group ballet and group soccer, as well as group music class) lasts 60 minutes. It's usually 45 minutes, because ... they are TODDLERS. While the coach knew her chops when it came to teaching gymnastics, I recommend that you have someone who KNOWS HOW TO TEACH YOUNG CHILDREN, teach the toddler class. Someone who knows the toddler brain. We now attend another gymnastics place, and we LOVE it. This new gym, located in Pasadena (not Club Champion Pasadena) has the the knowledge + expertise to teach not only good gymnastics, but they know how to teach it to 3 year-olds.

Coach Emily is awesome!! My daughter is hard to pay attention but she manages to make her listen and my daughter listens to her. Also with the covid, I was hesitant to bring her to the gym, but she can't pay attention online. So when I found out the extra mile they do to make sure kids are safe I tried it. It was awesome. It's cleaning and cleaning and cleaning. It took some time off their 1 hour but I want my daughter to be safe and at the same time continue her classes. They rotate with the use of equipments and clean every change of rotation. There's also social distancing on the gym floor and outside where parent watch and wait. It's awesome!!
