It gets one star because the tellers are usually very helpful. But today was a whole other story. I went in with a bag of coins, already in coin sleeves, to deposit. We've had a collection of coins for years and they were just taking up space. The bag must've weighed more than 30 pounds. I'm a stay at home mom and it's pretty difficult to lug a baby AND a bag this heavy. I finally had some child care today and decided to quickly run to the bank. There were ZERO customers, two tellers, and I'm assuming a supervisor. The teller that called me over didn't want to take the coins because "there wasn't room in his drawer". He asked the other teller and he said the same thing. I asked what I could do since I didn't want to carry that heavy bag again. He just looked away without even trying to come up with a solution. I had to bring the bag of coins back with me. This is completely absurd. YOU'RE A BANK! How can you not take coins? I got home and after about ten minutes finally managed to get a customer service rep on the phone. He then proceeded to tell me that k needed to make an appointment for any sort of transaction. I asked how long this policy has been in effect and he scoffed "it's been in place since 2020". This was a regular Chase bank location. I'd understand if it were a Private Client location, but it's not. I'm still in disbelief that I received this kind of service. If you're looking for a new bank.... Keep looking.

I once valued having both personal and business accounts with Chase until policy changes, including a monthly fee for business accounts, led me to switch my business banking elsewhere. Despite this, when attempting to set up a new business account with Chase at the Foothill branch in Monrovia, I encountered significant inefficiencies. The process was further hindered by a lack of urgency among staff, with individuals seemingly distracted by personal mobile device use. Unfortunately, I was turned away due to the assertion that it would take two hours to open the account, reflecting a disregard for the needs of local small businesses. Consequently, I have chosen not to engage in any future business with Chase. Avoid banking here altogether; there are numerous banks that would welcome your business and money.

Consequently, I have chosen not to engage in any future business with Chase and request a cessation of promotional credit card mail.

This is the most useless chase branch you'll ever encounter. The ONLY thing I use them for is getting rolls of quarters. It takes at MINIMUM 30-minutes every time because they are SO SLOW. You don't need to discuss every aspect of the Christmas parade with every customer. They are so obsessed with having in-depth conversations with every customer that you have to remind them to do their job. I'm a hospitality consultant, I teach people how to properly interact and make people welcome. You are doing the opposite.

Went to this branch during mid day, they seem understaffed but whoever was there was very polite and helpful to resolve the issue I was having. If you need right information, this is the branch you should go. They may not be as fast as other branches but will provide you with all necessary information you may need.

The person in charge of managing staff needs to be fired. This branch is always understaffed. There's usually only one teller even during busy hours. I had to wait over 20 minutes and I was second in line. Don't let them tell you it's due to staff shortage, this is a major bank corporation that makes billions every year. They can easily afford to hire extra bank tellers. They put a supposed auto teller but it's just an ATM with a few extras. You still need a human teller for most things. They need to hire more tellers at this bank and stop cutting corners.

A huge thank you to Diane Buitrago at the Foothill branch. She took care of a transaction that was making me very nervous, and she did so with knowledge, patience and she was so kind.
