Caring Transitions was fantastic! They moved my mother into memory care, replicating exactly what was on her dresser at home, to give her comfort. I never would have thought of that. In clearing out her home, they found many things that I thought were lost. They sold her non family items and garnered me tens of thousands of dollars. I would never have known what to do. Somehow they knew what everything was, even the most obscure items, and found specific buyers who wanted them. Caring Transitions is amazing and worth twice what I payed them. And they are sensitive, kind, and incredibly compassionate. I highly recommend them and have told everyone I know that might need their services.

Wynesta and Steve and their wonderful team made order out of the complete chaos of my sister's home. My sister's sudden and unexpected death left me reeling. My realtor recommended Caring Transitions of the Angeles Foothills and they swooped in like angels to help me. I live in another state and trying to sort my loved one's belongings was costing me dearly, both emotionally and financially. Wynesta and her team sorted and auctioned items, donated items and let go of items that needed to be let go of. They worked hard to make sure that my family received a fair price for auctioned items and made sure that items that could be used by others were donated to legitimate charities. Most importantly they worked hard to preserve my sister's dignity throughout the process. It was a godsend to have this service help me through a very difficult and emotionally draining time. I cannot say enough good things about this company and their services.

I hired Caring Transitions this month to help me pack up and move from my apartment in Monrovia, CA to a new home I purchased at Sun City Palm Desert, sold on their promises of making my move easy and stress free because they had offices in both locations. Let me give you the lesson-learned right up front. NOT ALL CARING TRANSITIONS FRANCHISEES ARE THE SAME QUALITY.The two-person team packing me up did well enough, although I found that many boxes were only labeled with destination room and not their content, slowing the unpacking process. But I was only met with ONE totally overwhelmed person to unpack me and she barely got half my kitchen done after a full day. Frantic communication with the franchisee provided no reassurance that I would promptly get more help and so I fired the Palm Desert franchisee, scrambled, and hired a professional organizer - for more money, but the job's getting done promptly. My suggestion - even if you work with Caring Transitions from Monrovia, find someone else on your own at the other end.POSTSCRIPT - The other franchisee did, to her credit, ultimately do the right thing, acknowledge responsibility, and made appropriate written and financial amends.

An incredible way to make your next move - Call Caring Transition to help you. Can you imagine leaving your home for a few hours while they pack one day - and walking into your new residence the next day and everything has been moved in - unpacked- put away - beds made - pictures hung - ready for you to pour a glass of wine and enjoy your new home. I have used CT 2 times - they do a great job.

I can’t say enough good things about Caring Transitions of the Angeles Foothills. Especially Wynesta Dale, who is one of the owners and the main contact. My wife and I are in our 70s and wanted to downsize and move closer to our daughter. Having lived in the same home for over 40 years, it sounded like an impossible task. But after just one meeting with Wynesta, we realized we had the right person to help us. With everything! She not only guided us in downsizing the move out, but she put together a 3D floor plan of our new home to visualize what things we wanted to keep and what things we had no room for. She helped us choose and schedule the movers, had her packing team come in and pack us, supervised the move, and coordinated with the unpacking team that set up our new home 500 miles away. She then took an inventory of what was left behind, held an estate auction, and handed us a check afterwards! In other words, she took care of everything. So if you’re thinking of moving, or just downsizing, give Wynesta a call. You’ll be surprised at how easy it is!

Caring Transitions has moved Mom twice as a process in her struggle with Alzheimer's. First from Independent living to Assisted Living and now Assisted Living to Memory Care. This process is one of transition from having many things to having very few as care becomes more specialized and living space grows smaller. Any individual would find this traumatizing as they see their possessions moved or removed. This becomes terrifying if you can't remember why something is happening and the world is full of strangers. Having Steve, Wynesta and her team to help with this process is more then simply having strangers move Mom's things. They are like friends. They are a family business and you can tell when you work with them and their people. They are honest, professional and affective. This, during a process that is difficult for both Mom and myself is invaluable. I appreciate them as a business and a people. Thank you.

rude people. i simply asked to retract two bids within the customary 2 hour time frame (two bids of many i placed) because they broke up a set of vintage dishes as two separate lots and the second lot (the first lot i won for a reasonable price) was getting bid up to waaaay more than it's even close to being worth (i have my suspicions). i simply was no longer interested and politely asked to retract. the items very easily just go to the second highest bidder... i've witnessed it from other owners in this franchise because often times i am the second bidder. apparently according to the lovely wynesta, this makes me a renegade. hmmm, old people are very weird and out of touch. rude beyond belief imo. who needs them. oh and she threatened to, and probably has already, blocked me because of asking for a bid retraction. unprofessional and greedy.

Moving is stressful. Moving from a home you love and have lived in for 32 years is very stressful. Moving to a retirement community is a major transition. I can't imagine doing it without Caring Transitions. They handled everything from packing to selling to moving to getting everything removed at the end. The whole team was professional and hard working. They worked in our home while we were there and never got in our way. They were friendly and considerate. I absolutely recommend them.

The experience that I had with Caring Transitions Foothills was not what I expected after their explanation of the services. They told me not to pack as their "professional packers" would. On arrival at my new location a lamp, curio cabinet and a treasured statue were shattered. I've never found the cups to my dinnerware. The packing of refrigerated items was not complete and I said I would be returning to collect the rest as well as a chair, other things that were not packed. On my return I found my new, fluffy white towels which had been purchased for my new place missing.. also, the remaining contents in the refrigerator, Steve said, had been thrown away! New batteries, jars of olives, jams, etc. A large unopened wedge of parmesan cheese was on the counter and then disappeared. Because one of the packers verified the towels were there, they were replaced....with the equivalent of thin bar towels, which arrived by mail sometime later. They said to not come back during the auction but my neighbors reported the remaining items that did not sell were scattered pell mell all over the floors of the garages. They said they could sell potted plants from the yard....they ravaged the yard, even removing part of the landscaping and wall art that was attached to the house. If you think you are going to get top dollar for your treasures think again. ALL items for auction start at $1.00. If there is not much interest in your beautiful china dishes a buyer could take them for $2.00 or it it goes to some charity. You won't get a receipt for the items that are donated. But Caring Transitions will have their own parking lot sale sometime later. I was told the rest was taken to the dump. Less than 1/4 of my items were placed on auction. I would suggest if you are considering using this "service" to sell or give away as much as possible before. Much of my goods were packed in storage tubs...which were never seen again. Interaction with Wynesta and Steve was mediocre at best. Read the contract, 100% not in your favor. Take care.

The Caring Transitions Team was both professional and responsible. Wynesta met with my siblings and me after our mom passed away and gave us options they provided to handle cleaning out her home. We were provided details on the cataloging and auction process as well as the pick up and complete clean up of our mom's home. It was all accomplished easily and on time as per Wynesta's provided contract and regular emails. Her team even found a couple of our mom's treasures that we missed when we went through her treasures and the items were returned to us. We were very pleased by the process and would recommend Caring Transitions glowingly.

Caring Transitions were a tremendous help to my family in clearing my parent's home. Wynesta and Steve did a fantastic job. Everything was clearly explained and they followed through in that exact manner. I'm most grateful to them for their service during this difficult time personally and with COVID going on as well.

Do not use this service. I would give -0 stars if it was possible. They don't take care of the elderly, they take advantage. There was no personal organizer or estate appraiser as indicated in Wynesta's presentation and company information. My Mom's move was a disaster and not an easy transition for her at 92 years of age. Her new place of residence was not "move-in" ready as they proclaim. She had beautiful items we thought would be auctionable and with an untrained eye, they were donated to charity. She received $100.43 in proceeds. Don't let them fool you.Wynesta tried to control the decisions for my Mom, i.e. cramming things into her tiny new apartment. She has no experience in room planning. I finally had to provide my Mom's power of attorney assigning me as her advocate in order to get things accomplished. She made it sound so easy--use color coded stickers to indicate where things would go. Hmmmm, twice, a box with family heirlooms that was marked to be taken to my Mom's new apartment was left behind. Her address book of 30 years disappeared and it was suggested that someone may have broken into her condo and stole it? Seriously?Wynesta was very vague when asked about services. Yes, they can do that, and when it came down to it, there was a hidden cost. They have no idea what they're doing, they are dishonest, and I kick myself for selecting them as my Mom's transitional moving service. We fired them before all services were provided and then they tried to get paid through the closing costs of the sale of my Mom's condo. What an insult! We are honest, responsible people. Their final invoice was paid immediately with a compromised $200 reduction in the final fee.Obviously, they were worried about their reputation as they tried to do damage control at the assisted living facility my Mom moved to. Hopefully, new residents aren't using their services. Please don't ever let a company tell you that you can't be there when they pack and move you. Be suspicious.
