DO NOT BUY ECLIPSE GLASSES HERE -- They are fake and will burn your retinas! I was in the midst of buying glasses when I noticed they were missing the left-hand side temple (AKA the ear support). All of the glasses for sale had that support cut off. When I questioned why, the employee claimed he didn't know. I knew why because I had just watched a news story that warned of this scam -- The missing support has the official ISO logo that verifies that the glasses are real. When I pointed this out, the employee got defensive and showed me the door. I raised a stink and told the long line of customers behind me the truth. Luckily I had a legit pair with me (I was buying an extra pair for my wife). I showed the crowd what the missing temple looks like, which made the employee even more belligerent. This immoral 7/11 deserves all of its negative reviews.

There is an employee there name "Chris". This employee is very abusive to women. Not only does He verbally abuse women he even mistreats his own co workers. I asked and warned the Monrovia community on the Monrovia postings and to my dismay, I had 90 comments complaining exactly the same thing, only women though. They have reported him to 711 headquarters, to no avail. Headquarters has escalated the complaints yet nothing has been done regarding this abusive employee. He yells at customers and judges everyone that walks in. Has thrown out customers by shouting yelling and being abusive even though those customers do not do anything wrong. He calls them "homeless" but he doesn't know their circumstances, yet he has been allowed to treat people this way for yrs now. How can that be? Headquarters stated the "owner doesn't response to their concerns, so they say. This abusive child targets women. WOMEN. He has been observed mistreating his own co workers. Shame on you 711. Shame on you protecting this "predator", he is now being called.A "womens group " is planning a protest against this abuser. But why doesn't 711 headquarters able to do something about it?? And now we find out this 711s ATM had a scanner to steal customers out of money, local newspaper wrote. A lot of people have stopped shopping there. The rest of the employees are great and have good customer service.How is it that this child/man can get away with this?? And they have cameras, do they or him erase the abuse? Probably. There is no name or phone number for the owner anywhere, and suppose to have that information posted somewhere? I warn ladies do not go into this 711 unless you have a man with you bc he doesn't mess with the men. He is a coward.

If they can get rid of the fraudulent night guy who claims he doesn't speak english or understand this store would be great he charges your card multiple times and then when its approved he cancels it and makes you pay again but the charges go thru on your bank im so livid because it's happened more than once with the guy then the last time i was there he was being rude to a customer and i really believe it was because of the skin color it never happens when i go in during the day time only when he's at work it always something..get rid of him and you'll have an awesome store in an awesome location

The guy with long hair is not at all customer friendly.The fountain is out of order here today and when I asked the guy about this, he got screwed. Later his service for me was so poor.

The boy with the dreadlocks is the worst worker who has ever served me.
Bad manners and discredits the store, he wants to charge more and I complained and he responded very badly.

I arrived at 711 on foothill in Monrovia only to find the store doors locked! me and several other customers were waiting standing in line . multiple people arrived asked why were we in line and then left after about 10 minutes . there were several seniors standing in the heat waiting to get in. finally a black gentlemen with dread locks unlocked the door from a remote location. some nice lady asked why the doors were locked ,was everything ok. the gentlemen replied rudely, saying maam your mistaken the doors weren't locked. the nice older senior lady said .no sir your wrong , the doors were clearly locked because I tried to open the door and couldn't.she said that everyone behind her in line also tried to open the door and couldn't. the clerk was extremely rude and got snotty with the elderly senior lady and wouldn't even help her . I felt horrible the the lady ,she left in tears. I was standing in line and I to tried to go in and couldn't because the doors were locked. the clerk was rude and basically called that older woman a lyier and was rude and wouldn't sell her anything, and the lady left in tears. I said the door was locked and the clerk said I was mistaken too . and was rude to me. never in my life of 51 years have I ever experienced such poor and rude customer service. I suggest trying the liquor store down the street, they know how to people and conduct business

the African American guy is very rude he refuse my mother's change and he would not sell her anything they should remove him from this store. everything has changed with him negatively, we stop going there

Here we go again...Try to exchange propane tanks. Should be easy enough. Guy at the register doesn't even halfway understand English. 5 times I have to repeat "EXCHANGE TWO TANKS". Huh? Two? Huh? Wuh? Ridiculous

I completely agree with the person that commented about the black guy with the dreds. Refused to give me his name. He said we cant have a dog in the store and i told him it was a service animal and I can present the card if he likes. He proceeded to Bash me and my partner for his disability. Made very disrespectful and derogatory comments. He Said "I can see why you need a service animal, now get out of my store." I will not be spending money here on his shift any longer. With multiple negative comments regarding this employee they should consider letting him go. He should be somewhere his ghetto demeanor is more suitable.
