Went to atm to do a favor for my 82 year old gma that can barely walk and some guy was outside watching me use the atm and so I put in wrong pin and let him use it after he stood there pretending to use it, I went inside to tell them and they ask me for my I.d card and debit card and I tell them the whole story of what's going on and they want to act like I'm stealing from my grandmothers account, I tell them about the man and they did nothing and continued to pressure me and call my grandmother to make sure I want a their. Very bad service and terrible for someone to assume something of someone when they are clearly telling you the guy outside is doing something that seems to be illegal. Never trust them

This is actually a review for the branch on Carpenter and Torrid, but if they are right,it applies to the whole chain. I was given a $100 bill at Costco. Gas stations don't want $100 bills, so I walked into WestAmerica bank to have them break it. I was told that they "will not give change unless you have an account ". Say what? You have a machine that checks the validity of the bill - you just don't want to do it. That is crappy customer service and I will NEVER bank with WesrAmerica Bank!

So I normally bank at oak valley bank, but they now close on Saturday. I opened an account at westamerica Bank to have banking available for Saturday. I inadvertently overdrew my Account and needed to correct this matter. I went in and wanted to cash a check and make the appropriate deposit, they said since I was over drawn they can only give me a fraction of my less cash and put a hold on the remainder of the deposit for 2 days. I asked if I could talk to a manager, well the young lady that was assisting me was the service manager. I then asked if there was anything she could do? She thought for a minute and asked if I have made similar deposits from the same check maker, I said yes. She made a call to verify and I walked out of the door with my money! Customer service is the point! We all know banks have policies and have to follow them, but there is also due diligence and effort of which miss Mireya Barajas did. She took the extra effort to see if she could solve the issue, and her efforts should be recognized!!! Great customer service!!!!!
