Was told a bunch of nonsense regarding a truck rental I remember speaking with a gentleman a few days prior about being able to pick up a truck to due to our wallet being stolen and we were at dmv replacing the ID's and licenses that'd when I called the home depot truck rental location and they said a temporary print out would be fine however I was rudley explained to and denied today about the truck honestly, something about sop or pictures of license, so idk what they are talking about sounds like nonsense and dude did not know how to do his job because what was the guy from the other day speaking about, go to other locations for your tool and truck rental needs this place was a absolute joke I will be doing all my masonry and construction jobs elsewhere from now on, we both have to work for supebowl Sunday I know it socks but that doesn't mean you have to be rude to the customer over the phone please act accordingly your at your job. Maybe a little respect next time?

Their customer service is just awful. I mean it's 2023 and I'm used to mediocre customer service. But they're just blatantly rude. This is more on the leadership side. An employee needed an over ride and the leadership that came was condescending to the employee and blatantly rude and dismissive to me. I always tell myself not to go, and lowes it is in the future

I was in the paint side of homedepot and this worker name Kelsey was being super rude literally when i was asking about paint, she kept going like ughh when i asked what something I didn't know meant and she kept rolling her eyes, told me we dont have that in like every color i chose i asked her if i could change my color then and she told another worker name pat "ugh im going to my break she change her color can you help them instead" if she would do a better job at helping and suggesting what paint and all the other things meant she wouldn't had gotten my paint started again even after she left she was cussing saying im going to my fucking break now, talk about not liking your job or properly speaking to someone and instead of getting mad because i don't know all about paint she should of just helped me out and being more helpful i don't recommend asking her for help when coming to the paint section her name again is Kelsey and according to her coworker she opens lol so dont go when shes there. Her coworker shouldn't be siding for her a guy name Siphung talking about oh she was probably like that if a customer is rude to her nor me or my husband where rude to her so i don't know why he is defending her shes just plain rude and even to the customer infront of us she was doing the same shit. Im actually glad someone else took over and was helped by Pat

Standing here at the pro desk waiting for help. 1person at a desk the other counting washers moving like a turtle. I need to do a phone sale here. Now she's petting a dog. I'm up but she lost her scanner. I would think that the purpose of the pro-desk is to get contractors on there way. HD MODESTO, YOU'VE FAILED.

LaRonda Hafeli appliances is amazing!! She took her time to help us out and was super sweet the entire time. We also were looking for a tool box and Bob was extremely helpful. Such great customer service!

My hot water heater stopped working and I needed a new one. I searched high and low for a water heater and finally found one at the Carpenter location. I ordered it at 5 PM online for curbside pick up. It took them 2 hours to have my order ready and by that time curbside pick up was no longer an option (I did not know that). When I arrived, there were three young people at the customer service area; one was working (brown hair, speaks Spanish) and the other two were not. I finally walked up to them and asked if they could help me. A young girl (no name tag) with blonde straight hair looked as though I was bothering her. She got my order number and left the area without saying a word. After a few minutes she returned with my order. I had to ask for help loading it into my car. I pulled my car up to the front and a young kid stood there on his cell phone until I walked up and asked that he help me load it. Usually I love Home Depot, but this particular store did not meet my expectations this time. Now let's hope this water heater doesn't disappoint me too! 3 starts became I want to love it again & Im remaining hopeful.

So a year ago we had windows installed from Home Depot on Carpenter Road. They did a great job. That is the installers. The worst service ever is Home Depot itself. I have one slider that is coming apart. Trying to get someone to come repair it because it's guaranteed is impossible. They say they're going to show up and they don't.Then it goes to one person to another person to another person to another person. No one gives you a straight answer. And phone numbers they leave you to call they don't answer their phones. I will never spend that much money at Home Depot again. the Windows itself were over $15,000. And all I'm asking is to give somebody this information to come fix one of my sliders. It's just take your money and that's it. You will not see anybody else after that. I suggest going with another big company who takes you as a customer and keeps you as a customer

I'm only giving it a 1 star because there's nothing less! I went in and purchased a $1,100 bbq grill for my hubby. After 1 hour of them hunting it down and finding 7 of them on a pallet in the garden area, they put one aside for me. I purchased it and placed an at will call for the next day. I specifically asked the manager to hold it and not have it assembled (my husband likes to put his own stuff together) and that I'll pick it up the following day. That noted, I went the following day to pick up the boxed grill only to find the grill already put together. When I asked her why it was assembled...she looked baffled. She's like, because you asked for it to be assembled. I stated my request on my paperwork specifically states I was picking up and it shouldn't be assembled. The poor grill was assembled, firebox dented on the lid as well as the warming rack on the inside. How in the world are you trying to have me take something I paid so much money for home like this to my husband (this was a birthday gift)? Then I pointed out the gal that had placed my at will call order and she's like ...ummmmmmm I'm so sorry I don't know why Jose put it together , laughed and walked away! I asked for a full refund and took my business to Lowe's, where I bought the same grill for 100 bucks cheaper and was in and out in less than 25 minutes! Customer service at Home Depot SUCKS! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY THERE!

I usually never leave reviews but the customer service experience here was absolutely atrocious! Rigo was extremely rude and belittling over a mistake HE made. He refused to speak with us and sent Joseph a sales associate to handle a situation he created! HE SHOULD NOT BE A MANAGER AND WHOMEVER HIRED HIM SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED! Lisa in self checkout (curly hair) was also extremely disrespectful and discriminatory. Maybe take a look at the people you have representing your store. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 20 minutes to riverbank because the staff here is a joke!

If you're looking to get paint avoid this location. I would head to the Riverbank store. I've been here multiple times without a single person at the paint counter. Had to find someone to request a paint person to respond but even then had to wait 20 minutes.

The last time I came into this store I was looking at plants. Apparently I was looking a little to long because a female worker came up to my cart touching everything in it and accused me of trying to steal. Like excuse me??? I flipped. Come to find out as I was PURCHASING EVERYTHING IN MY CART, she wasn't even on the clock at the time she went through my stuff because she couldn't shut her mouth about how she's not working. Bib on and all. Do better next time Home Depot employees to not harass and accuse customers of stealing when they are just looking and things to buy. God forbid I want to get the correct and nicest things I can.

It was a fiasco trying to get the $50 they promised me to open an account. I ended up closing the accoun after hours of being sent from recorded messages one after the other...no one new how to help. It was easier to just give up. I just closed the account. Now I have to deal with my credit rating going down from giving up my ssn. They promised to take the money off my bill when I opened a new account. Try to get it though!
