Found Deo’s shop on Yelp. I was greeted immediately when I walked in and he was very helpful when I was describing what I was looking for. He gave me a great price for the items I bought and was willing to help me find something I liked within my budget. The only thing that I would like to see improved upon would be the dressing room. It wasn’t very ideal in terms of privacy but it was fine because I tried my items over my thin dress so I wasn’t afraid someone would walk in on me. All in all great little shop. Thank you, Deo!

My cousin-sister was a bride this year and Rani’s Little India took care of all our bridal party needs. They custom made our wedding outfits and took time to send us beautiful Saris. They really worked with the bridal team and took our needs into consideration. Thank you Rani’s Little India!

I met Rani’s little India back in February of 2018 and ever since then his store is the only place my family and I shop at. My wedding just took place on March of this year and his been such a help. I’ve had all my brides maids saris done from him. All customized and made in India. With all the details, color and designed us girls asked for. My mother, auntys & grandmother all shopped here for my wedding from saris, sherwanis, kids clothing to jewelry. He does it all and his

We had a great experience here! My fiancé and I were invited to a traditional Indian wedding and we went into this store not really sure what we were looking for. Prakesh was absolutely wonderful in helping us find exactly what we needed. He was very kind and we were able to stay within our budget. I would highly recommend this shop to others looking for Indian attire.

Star India is closed and has changed hands. Indian food is still served here along with Fijian cuisine. Ligit Fijian fare... give it a try. :-)

I loved this place. They're closed now :( Edit: I got the scoop from the owners - they're looking for a new building in Modesto currently and will re-open once they do.

This place is very overrated per the reviews on yelp. I decided to try the lunch buffet, but was very disappointed. The food was alright.. the lettuce was wilted and just thrown together with no love. Asked for a refill on my soda and was told no free refills what ever but when I usually go to a sit down restaurant typically you get free refills. Not a very clean place either, front doors had smudges all over them. The silver ware had stains as if they were just quickly rinsed off. I like to support local businesses, but I will not be going back to this establishment. Word of advise for the management get it together and maybe you'll last..
