Great service. Matthew was so helpful and knowledgeable Sold them a snowboard that was too short for growing son and got him correctly sized board for the season. Matthew adjusted bindings to proper stance for new board and also adjusted my daughter’s board while we were in store. - great place for Snowboarding needs.

If you're looking for anything sports equipment related, I recommend your first stop to be Play It Again Sports. From golf to fitness they got it. Ask for Nathaniel when you stop by, very knowledgeable and professional.

I just left the place after getting a battle rope, Great business to go to if you have the desire to build your own home gym they have all kinds of different sports equipment almost anything you can think of, the staff is very knowledgeable of their equipment, easy to talk too not just about business but just great genuine conversations, i will always recommend anyone to them!

They sent out their guy to fix our treadmill. He did it quickly for a reasonable price. He also gave me a lot of good info about how to maintain our treadmill and avoid encountering the same issues we were having. ??

The store is immaculately clean well stocked and organized. The store policies are well displayed. The associates are knowledgeable and friendly, their service is top notch. The inventory moves quickly so if you see something you like get it now! Will definitely be back!

I would like to select less than one star but that isn't an option. We bought a stationary recumbent bike from this location for our disabled son. I phoned the store to discuss the purchase prior to driving from Gilroy to Modesto to ensure that we didn't have a wasted trip. We picked up the bike 3/4/23, put it together that afternoon and the bike did not work. We called the manufacturer, went through all of the steps to see if we did something wrong, and no, there was something wrong with the motor. Called the store the next day (3/5) told that we would need to drive back to Modesto and leave the bike there for their tech to check out and possibly repair, or call the manufacturer back to have them come to our home and repair. I mentioned the 5 day return policy and both Josh & Derek assured me that it wouldn't be an issue since I had reported the problem before the 5 days. The part never showed up, even though we received multiple notifications that it had been sent - UPS "lost" it. The repair tech from the manufacturer showed up on time (3/18/23), but with no part there was nothing for him to do. The motor is bad and needs to be replaced, the tech told us that he "just replaced one in the same bike yesterday" and that bike was less than a month old. We called the store to let them know that we would be bringing the bike back for return, we were told that the 5 day return policy had expired. What the heck?!?!? So now we are stuck with a non-working bike, which by the way, we told them before purchasing, is for our disabled son and is his only source of exercise due to his disability. Also, there is no manager on site or available by phone, so you are dealing with sales personnel that have no authority. Anyone have any suggestions?

I would look elsewhere if you are looking for a deal on sporting equipment, as many people do. You might save a couple of dollars shopping at Play-it-Again Sport (maybe not); the savings is doubtfully worth the risk of losing your money if your purchases don't work out. This company has a five-day return window for purchased merchandise, which is ridiculously short, and if you happen to lose your receipt, there is "nothing they can do for you." As the less-than-helpful clerk, Nathaniel, informed me today. When I went into their store last week, I thought I would support local businesses, but I was disappointed because I couldn't find everything I was looking for, and the things I found didn't fit. Then when I went to return the merchandise today, I was told that I was out of luck because I didn't have the original receipt and there was nothing they could do. They could have helped me if they wanted, but they didn't. I ended up buying what I needed on Amazon for less than what I paid at Play-it-Again, and if anything doesn't fit, I have 30 days to return it.Play-it-Again,The money you felt was so important to hang on to is the last money you will see from me.Thanks,Casey

We are so disappointed with the response from this store regarding the purchase of a recumbent bike that did not work straight out of the box. We have been lied to and given the run around, told the day after the purchase that we had to schedule a repair for a brand new bike. Both the store and Schwinn have been terrible to work with, the tech who showed up told us that he has worked on many of this model with the same issue, so basically they are selling bikes that they know are defective. The bike is not usable, but Play It Again Sports won't do anything to help?!?!
